Maki & Ramen Saint James

Excellent find. I had the miso ramen and it was great. It was super mild, just what I needed and really hot. Big portion too with lots of noodles. We didn't have cocktails but they looked good too. This restaurant is within the shopping centre so closes about 9pm. Very clean, super friendly staff and only a short wait for a table. Good value too.

I got the salmon plate, three ways: sushi, sashimi and others. Which was good for the price of less than 10 quid. But a little bit more if you get a drink with it, which I did. The service was quite quick and they offered a snack and water for my dog companion. Good for a long sit down meal with family or friends and also good for a quick eat and go meal! Recommended!

The food was mouth wateringly good. Also the mains were super quick to arrive after ordering. The restaurant itself is stunning and really well designed, plus the soundtrack while I was there seemed to be the guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack which I’m not complaining about, wasn’t expected but fun to listen to.

I can't fault this place at all. My friend and I came in with 7mins before the kitchen closed, but they seated us quickly, and got our order in without even a hint of it being an inconvenience. The food came out quickly, and every single thing tasted amazing! They have loads of great options for vegans and vegetarians, and I can't wait to try more of them.

Following a rainy walk around Edinburgh, my husband and I were in the mood for a warm meal and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The decor of the establishment was tasteful and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding. We decided to try the vegan black garlic tonkotsu ramen 🍜 and share a portion of vegan Gyoza 🥟. The ramen was especially remarkable, with a thick, flavorful broth that was infused with the subtle yet delightful taste of black garlic. In fact, we enjoyed the meal so much that we plan to return during the week. On weekends, the restaurant is frequently packed, but we look forward to experiencing it again soon.
