Let me start off by saying that I am biased towards the Pagolac as it is a restaurant I have been going to for more than twenty years. I judge all spring rolls to theirs as they have the best spring rolls in Edmonton. They are so big and meaty oh man they are good. The food quality has never gone down and is always delicious. There are so many vietnamese restaurants around now but the Pagolac is the original and still the best. The staff are amazing and will tend to your every need such as, my need for the best spring rolls in Edmonton.

This place is awesome. You cant say the same about the location (it was not too bad actually) but you would not really mind the place because the food and service was amazing. We were surprised because it was not even over 5mins after we ordered that we got our food! The serving was huge for something so affordable. Will definitely come back! Try their Deluxe Rice Noodle Soup and their Pagolac Jumbo combination. :)

Edited: I'm so sad to learn that Pagolac has closed due to the economic downturn from covid. You guys were one of the best pho places while growing up, will miss it for sure. Thanks for the great food after all these years. Came to eat here after several years of going to other places. The portions are pretty good (the large feeds just enough to not feel bad about yourself). Although there are places where you can get a better bang for your buck, Pagolac still remains as one of the Pho places with genuine soup base. Updated Review after another year: Still as great as before. Soup is amazing and they're real poppin on the noodles. $15 for a large but worth it.

Excellent value for the money spent here. The staff is very nice and the food came out super quick (it was a to-go order). It tasted equally great, and the portion size is very big. I still had a fair amount left over.

Wow. My first time going to this particular Vietnamese restaurant. Just a horrible experience. After just taking my first few bites of my seafood pho soup I noticed a long black hair in the soup. After phishing it out and getting sick to my stomach I called the waitress over and showed her what I found. I couldn't believe what happened next. next. She took the bowl in the back and was speaking Vietnamese really loudly. Only 30 seconds later she came back with same bowl of soup and tried to act like it was a new bowl. The reason I knew it was the same bowl is because I had mixed the noodles up in with the soup and it came out the same way. At that point I was to sick to my stomach to argue. I told her. That this was the worst treatment I have ever got at an establishment and that this was the first and last time they see me step foot in their business. I'm appalled and stunned at the level of customer service and disgusting treatment I Recieved.

Legitimate, slightly dated "Asian diner"-style. Amazingly consistent high quality of food. Huge portions for a low price. Excellent service. Always quick for refills, and food arrives fast and hot. Their specialty is the vermicelli bowls (get it with the fried roll on top, you won't be disappointed!), but you can't go wrong with any of the dishes.

Honestly breaks my heart to see, the quality of the food served here has nose dived. I have loved this restaurant for many years. I was served food that was expired, the lady insisted it was freshly cooked. My review from 2 years ago : Always a friendly Vietnamese Server working, pretty sure they speak Chinese too. The Pho has good broth and my dish was delicious.
