A fun place for brunch in this quaint converted house. Sometimes it gets quite busy so making a reservation during busy times would be good. Prompt food service. Noise level gets loud inside , even when not the restaurant is not at full capacity. The food was better quality and tasting the first time we went a couple months ago. But the food was good either way.

Went here for brunch yesterday morning. Was such a neat restaurant. A house turned into a beautiful restaurant? Such a great experience. The waitress was very nice. We sat upstairs and had a very good meal. Tried duck for the first time and was very impressed! I have so many great things to say about this lovely place. HIGHLY recommend!

The service was really quite lovely, but I found the food this weekend and wine all very disappointing. The chicken my girlfriend had tasted a week old and quite bland. I had the Tuscan pasta which did have some flavour but the pasta that was used was again old and the ends of the pasta were dry. The wine by the glass seemed liked the bottle had been opened for a few days. Decor and server were awesome though!

Food was solid (all four in my party ordered different entrees and nothing stood out as exceptional, but good eats nonetheless). Service level the few times I've gone has been excellent. Atmosphere is nice and cozy but also a lot of oldies in attendance.

It was the worst experience I ever had. The waitress gave my friend and I our appetizers and she never checked up on until more than 25 minutes later. She focused more on the bigger group setting and the older couple (who came approximately 25 minutes later). We were able to get our entrees, but she was no where nearly our table, but always appearing to the bigger group across from us on the first floor. She was also very rude as I tried to get the bill from her and she just glared. She also glared at my friend when my friend thanked her for getting the change. My friend got her change 10 minutes later and did not apologize or give a reason. She also did not asked how was our food or our experience. I will never be coming back. I use to love going The Manor Bistro, but that experience will always give me a bitter memory.

I have eaten at The Manor a few times now, and am always excited to go back. The food is delicious and the menu has great options for both people who are food-adventurers and those who stick within their comfort zone. I always recommend this restaurant to my friends, and I have yet to have someone tell me their experience was unenjoyable. On top of this, the restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside. Great experiences always.

You can tell that a lot of care goes into creating the food at The Manor. The servers and hostess are all very professional, and work hard to ensure that each guest has a great experience. The atmosphere is casual as well as elegant which makes for a very relaxed and cozy dining experience. The servers are very knowledgable when it comes to wine, cocktails, and beer suggestions. A great place to enjoy good wine, and great food with friends.

I wanted to take my husband out to a new (to us) restaurant for his birthday. When I called and made a reservation, I specifically said that it was for a birthday. The woman whom took the reservation failed to tell me that they do not acknowledge birthdays whatsoever. I've lived in Edmonton for 15 years and have gone to several different restaurants and never once have I eaten at a restaurant that didn't do at least some little thing for a birthday. When I paid for our meal, I asked the waitress about it (thinking that there may have been an error) and she said that they don't do anything for birthdays. She said that she could sing Happy Birthday to him if I wanted her to. My husband was already out in the car at this time. If you are out celebrating any special occasion, do not go to this place. Go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse where they will have Birthday confetti and a signed birthday card on the table waiting for your arrival. They will also give you a free dessert. Most places will give you a free dessert or a free drink, sometimes even a free appetizer or a meal! Oh, also, the window that we were sat next to was cracked in such a way that there was a hole in it and had very sharp edges. There was cold air blowing in. Had it been a chilly night, it would have been very cold sitting next to that window.
