Amazing Wok

Amazing Wok is Amazing 👏 I visit this little restaurant every time I get to Edmonton. Great service, great food and great prices. Mae, who has always been there since I have started going for sometime now, always remembers me, as well she's quick to suggest trying something new for me. This time it was Rice Noodles with Peking duck. It's a big meal and tasty like everything here. Reccomend this place, 5 🌟 I have had the chow mein there several styles at different times, highly recommended 👌.

What an "Amazing" find in Edmonton! Upon ordering from many places around Edmonton to find the best of the best, along came "Amazing Wok"! Really fresh and delicious Asian Cuisine and a MUST TRY. A true experience that is surly AMAZING. Good on all of you, I'm so excited to visit Edmonton just to come have dinner with you. Thank you for tantalizing our taste buds once again!

Amazing Wok is my go to place to get Chinese food! I have not found a place in Edmonton that even comes close to them. The food is consistently really delicious. Always fresh and hot even when Its being delivered. The portions are always really generous. The combination special for two on their menu can definitely feed three people if you wanted. Eating in house is always a treat because of the great service they provide. My Grandma and I have been exclusively ordering from this place for the last 8ish years and they have never disappointed us. If I could give it a higher rating I definitely would! Highly recommend for anyone wanting authentic Chinese food!

We came back to this restaurant with our friends as foods here tasted good the 1st time we went. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues tonight. The server was nice, and the foods taste great as expected until one of our kids saw hair from the fried rice on his plate. When we found a second one on a dish plate, we decided to let the server know, and they showed it to the cook. The server apologized to us. We accepted it even if it wasn’t seem to be a big deal for them. That was the 1st issue. Second issue was, after we paid and we were waiting for the dessert of our kids, the cashier called us and she said that she messed up with the bill. She gave the bill of the other table to us. So we fixed it and paid whatever we owed. Third issue was when I followed up our dessert of 2 ice cream and the cashier said I need to pay for it again because she did not bill it to us. I said just cancel it because we waited long enough for it, I already paid which we thought the OVERALL bill and our companions were ready to go. I was also advised lastly that the crackers we added weren’t billed TOO yet even though the cashier already asked us to settle our bill. We came back at the front 3 times to pay bills repeatedly. It was confusing and hassle for us as we have kids with us. Foods are satisfactory but our experience tonight is not good knowing that they didn’t really bother about the hair that we have seen and billing wasn’t accurate.

I've been ordering from this place for years. At first the food was the best I've ever had, never any issues. But within the past year, each time I ordered I got sick. Cross contamination?(I'm allergic to shellfish, fish and mushrooms) Tonight was the last straw for me. The delivery took over an hour, the delivery driver tried calling for directions but I could not understand him through his very thick accent, the food was absolutely horrible. They changed the recipe for the rice, was very bland, the pork smelled off, the ginger beef is so tough, the spring rolls tasted very old and arrived soggy. It's safe to say I will no longer be bringing my business to this place, unfortunate since it started out so good.

Apparently ownership changed. The food definitely has. Short haired lady is rude af. Got to dispute food quality and continually listen to her berate skip drivers - all in one sitting. If you are unlucky enough to set foot in here, you may notice it is popular with retirees. Perhaps if you fall into that category, you may find the food edible. Otherwise, avoid.
