Metropolitan Billiards

Lots of pool tables, lots of beers, my waitress Brooke was super knowledgeable on all the different types of beer, she’s very sweet and thoughtful, I asked her to surprise me with a cocktail and she returned with what she called the Brooke special (it has cotton candy on it). Definitely recommend the meat lovers pizza, I will be returning with my family next time!

Since moving into town, we have not played pool yet, a friend suggested metro. Went into metro last night and our server Brook was amazing. It looked like she was running the place alone. Regardless, our beers came within 1 minute. It was very busy but Brooke was very personable, and our drinks were never empty. She helped recommend our drinks and was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The food was also great for a treat, try the meat lovers pizza or the pickle spears! Definitely will be returning and recommending.

*TL;DR - Super happy, no notable complaints, absolutely returning for more!* Went in today for the first time with my Father and Father In-law for a boys afternoon out. Ended up staying for about 5 hours. To start, Alanna was our server and was an absolute treat to be served by. She was very clear-spoken about how the establishment operated and how things worked. She took our drink orders and got us started inside of 3 minutes from when we entered. For the remainder of our time here, she checked in on us with decently timed intervals to see how we were and if we needed anything. I suspect she has a keen eye for empty glasses as she never left us dry. Overall, her performance as a server for us was 10/10. Regarding the establishment itself, we were quite pleased with the overall ambience. It was well lit, tables were clean, floors were clean and there wasn't any disorderly to be seen or heard. The music playing for us was a mixture of 70's, 80's and 90's hits. I did notice the mens room was falling behind a tiny bit (read: water on counter, minimal litter), but given that we were there during what seemed like a rush period, I wasn't bothered by it. Folks can only do so much. Food was great, albeit I only ordered the tortilla chip basket. Served warm, and lightly salted to the point where it's not overpowering, yet still noticeable. For me, this is perfect. The salsa I do believe Alanna said was made in house, and it was very appealing. Good hearty feel to it for what it is, as well as a light sweetness to it. My Father In-Law ordered a burger, and I don't recall which burger specifically, but I do recall he enjoyed it. Order sizes were well proportioned, and we felt good about the cost. I'm looking forward to testing the chicken wings and poutine the next time I'm here. To summarize, first impression of this place is fantastic and we three have every intention of returning for more.
