Friendly and obliging staff, the drinks selection is good and the food menu has all the home made favourites and vegos are covered. The Sunday roast is very well priced and your plate is nice and full when it arrives. Worth a visit to eat and watch the world go by. Thank you for making our lunch delightful.

Rainy Sunday, just passing but hungry, so why not try it. Place is a little dated and decor or style are not strong points. It was Sunday so they were only doing carvery. Small ( not small ) was about £8.50 and regular was about £11. Plus they did puddings. Food was home cooked and fresh and delicious. Meat was lovely and the veg was too, not mushy or dried up. We can't comment on drinks as we all had J2o's. Would we go again? YES.

We decided to sit outside and to say its next to the road its reasonably quiet. We ordered the sunday roast chicken, on the menu it says all roasts come with listed veg, yorkshire, roast potatoes and more, the waitress (after asking where the missing food was) let us know the chicken doesnt come with carrots, yorkshire or roast potatoes, even though its £1 more then some others and tge menu clearly says it does. Even though we had missing food the quality, oresentation and taste was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Visited here for my partners birthday. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was amazing and freshly cooked. Very good prices. We were a group of 10 and we were well catered to. Highly recommend. Will be returning again in the near future.

What a great find this pub was! The landlady is super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Quirky layout inside (as several alcoves), but couldn't fault the food. It was well presented and tasted great too. There's a great outdoor play area too for families with kids.

Came as a group of 14. Can be tricky with a large group but food was incredible, home cooked and delicious. Super friendly and great service. Highly recommended. Many thanks!

Fantastic value carvery. Front of house greeted us very politely and was told unfortunately only turkey was available, which was okay as I hadn’t booked a table in advance. Service was swift and very friendly. Food was very nice and well prepared and served. Was offered a complimentary desert due to the lack of meat options. Will definitely come back if back in the area.

We were staying at nearby Sherwood Forest lodges so went here for dinner one evening. Being an author of Robin Hood novels I couldn't resist the name! All of us (2 kids, 2 adults) really enjoyed our food (I had the ham, egg and chips) and the man running things was accommodating and nice. I liked the painting of Robin and Little John too, looked good!

11 members of my family went to the Robin Hood to celebrate my 70th birthday. We all ordered various meals and all were delivered together, no one had to wait, every meal was cooked to perfection and the staff were so professional yet friendly. I would recommend the Robin Hood to anyone. Both me and my husband have also enjoyed the Sunday roast.

Went here for a meal last week and i must say it was one of the tastiest meals I've had in ages. I ordered the vegetarian burger and it was cooked to perfection. Excellent service and great price. Will be definitely coming back

The food here is incredible! The chef clearly knows his techniques and really pulls them together to create incredible food! Went during pandemic so was pretty quiet. The place was very cold and even the barman had a coat on, only reason I would think about deducting a point which I won’t because more people should try this place! The service was slow and lackluster but it’s a quiet friendly pub vibe! Don’t worry about it, when you can you must go and have some lovely very reasonably priced food by someone who clearly loves what he does.
