Brilliant place for meal and drink. One of the best restraunts in Egham
Very nice relaxed place great staff helpful and friendly good background music, and different menu!!! Garden a bonus
Great food, lovely atmosphere, good service. A really good bistro.
Just back from a delicious meal; moroccan spiced halloumi with aubergine dip and a spiced tomato chutney, followed by seabass, samphire, green beans and a crab bisque/mayo. Nice bottle of pouilly fuisse, affogato to finish.
Delicious.
Brilliant little find , great food, staff excellent, remembered what coffees etc we liked , jo great asset to your business and girl doing breakfast unflappable under pressure on her own thank you made our stay and first time in egham most enjoyable

Wonderful beetroot risotto and goat's cheese salad. Large portions - duly felt pleasantly stuffed!
First time in Egham great bar great atmosphere loved it lager never nice and cold to. Staff on bar last night 05/07/17 were great
Fabulous staff, great food and funky atmosphere!
Wonderfully cosy gem of a restaurant in Egham. Been coming here for over 15 years and food has never disappointed. I'd go back any day just for another helping of the pear, chocolate & amaretto trifle like concoction of gorgeousness from their dessert menu which has been on the menu the last two occasions I've dined there. A great place for a cosy date.
If you’re looking for reasonably priced traditionally cooked food served in a warm friendly atmosphere, then Bar 163 in Egham should fit the bill. The exterior of the building looks very Victorian to me, while inside you’ve got a good mix of antique and modern furnishing. A strange choice of combination, but it really does go well together.
Honestly, if you're looking for a relaxed and memorable dining spot, this is it!
Had an amazing time at Bar 163 for an early Saturday dinner with the girls. The hidden garden at the back is lovely! We started with Walnut and Goats Cheese salad and Salmon Gravilax (daily special), followed by chicken Caesar salad and mussels in white wine sauce. A bottle of wine rounded off the perfect meal.
The staff was friendly, and the place feels much improved under new management. Highly recommend!
Just back from a family dinner for a family of 5 at Bar 163, and absolutely delighted at the wonderful evening we had.
Last frequented Bar 163 prior to Covid and although it was nice, it wasn't especially memorable. Tonight was a complete contrast, the decor was inviting, lighting was subtle and gave a warming ambience, which was very welcome on a night of a torrential downpour! I understand that it has a new owner, and it really shows.
We were with our parents in their 70''s, and our 3 year old son, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Food was exceptional, the pork belly especially, which had a thick and perfectly crispy crackling, paired with a lovely bottle of Argentinian Malbec (less than £40). Sensational Affogato to follow.
Lovely restaurant, surprisingly large as it transpires, with plenty of seating, including an outside seating area, pavement tables (continental Europe anyone?) plus an upstairs room and balcony. Despite the capacity, it still somehow managed to feel intimate and we had a lovely evening.
Staff were amazing, food was exceptional and the building itself is quite charming actually.
Well worth the short drive from Windsor and we will definitely visit again soon!
I've always loved Bar 163 but after a disappointing meal last year we haven't been for a while, but having heard they had a new chef we thought we'd give it a go, and i'm glad we did!
Really good menu, the food was delicious and staff were very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going back and trying some more of the new dishes on the menu!
My daughters wedding reception. Small and intimate, lovely relaxed afternoon and evening. With good food and wine shared with dear friends
Fun Bistro for midweek meal.
Staff are very friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and warm.
Interesting menu with some big winners.
Try the Harissa Cauliflower and the Gnocchi.
The wings were interesting but too rich to eat all on your own so a very good group share.
Exceptionaly nice restaurant in Egham, fabulous food and really lovely service.
Best chocolate fondant for miles.
There's always a lovely atmosphere in here and great service, not to mention fantastic food! Everything was delicious and you can see how much care and attention goes into each dish. The chicken and chorizo terrine and stuffed breast of Guinea fowl were really special. A great place to treat yourself!
A must-visit here in Egham. We were so glad we visited. Delicious flavours, pleasant service and ambience. Locals coming in just for a coffee after grocery shopping were warmly welcomed, and the pricing is reasonable. Would love to try their desserts next time.
Cannot praise the staff at Bar 163 enough! They looked after us so well when we popped in for a birthday brunch, spoiling the birthday girl and the awkward vegan! The outdoor area was a delight for the sunny warm weather and the food was delicious but it's the customer service that we will be back for. Thanks so much for looking after us!
Fantastic place, nice atmosphere, double omelette light meal is really good! Very busy at lunch times and the staff seem friendly. If you get a seat near the fire your in for a warm fuzzy meal.
