Sonic Drive-in

I ordered our food on the app and waiting 10 minutes before I left the house. I got to sonic within 20 of ordering, checked in on the app, and noticed they were busy so I would give them another 10 minutes to bring out my food. Well after 30 minutes I called in and reminded them I was still waiting and I was told “okay one second”. I waited a total of an hour and called in again asking where my food was, I finally received it, but it was cold, old, and they didn’t even have the drinks. They went in and remade everything, but I’m still being charged. I feel the food should’ve been remade (which it was) and I should’ve been reimbursed since I waited a total of an hour and 15 minutes. I’ve worked at a different sonic as a manager so I know how stressful it can sometimes be, but this was just unacceptable.

Customer service has truly gone done hill at this Sonic. My husband and I went about 730pm last night, Feb 9. We were just wanting sundae’s and a drink. As we were waiting to order in the drive thru window line for about 5 min. a young lady said I’ll be right with you. All of a sudden she walks out with drinks to trucks behind us and one truck drove in front of us to the window and she served them. Then about 6 min later she says we can only take drink orders as the kitchen is behind. Now why wouldn’t she say that when we first drove up and how rude to serve others that was in back of us. She never asked what we would like or that the kitchen was behind. This is the second time in one week we’ve been here and been witnessed how the service is rude and don’t care.

This location is pretty hit or miss and I’ve been coming to this one for about 9-10 years so I’ve seen the changes that have gone down. Aside from that, most of the time they are slow but I have personally never had any issues with my order being correct. The reason for the four stars is mostly for Maria! The past couple of times I’ve been there, Maria has been the ONLY seemingly carhop and the only one bringing out food/drinks. She hustles, is extremely kind and apologetic for wait times and genuinely seems to be a hard worker who cares about her job and performance. Sonic workers do not make much but Maria deserves a raise. I know things are crazy but seeing her hustle and be kind in the craziness of it all is honestly refreshing. I find it gross that sonic is allowing this to happen (there should never only be one carhop, imo). I hope Maria gets the recognition she deserves because she is a rockstar from what I can tell. I’m literally only writing this review to show my appreciation to her. I will continue to come here and I hope next time I see more employees!

Currently not a good fast food option due to lack of speed and accuracy. I ordered using the Sonic app for ASAP arrival/ 2 minutes later I checked in 3:20pm. My order was delivered until 3:36pm MISSING 2 items, a drink and a side.. plus sauce. I had to wait another 10 minutes for the remainder of my order. Tori, the manager explained they are training and wait times are taking longer. Only 1 person carrying out food for the entire property. Hopefully they'll get back on track soon, best of luck to this team... and if you go there, make sure you have time to spare!

First gave me the wrong order, second gave me an incomplete order, after 18 minutes I walked in asking what the hold up is and they had zero clue what I was talking about, then one girl gave me an attitude saying that it wasn't their fault that they messed up my order and pointed at the door demanding that I "get the hell out of there". You have lost a customer! - my friend that was with me, went back in several minutes later and apparently raised hell as she ended up getting our correct order for us. Very disappointed in this location!
