The Bearded Chef Hq

The Bearded Chef catered our Wedding in September and the food was fantastic! Aaron and Kayleigh were both absolutely amazing and we can't thank them enough. The menu was tailored to us with new dishes and a personalised wedding cocktail as the welcome drink. The canapés were great but the main meal really stole the show. Melon with sorbet, smoked salmon and lentil soup were our choice of starters. Followed by haggis sagaloo pie, chicken stuffed with chorizo mousse with paprika sauce, fondant potatoes & veg medley and sweet potato cakes as the 3rd option. For dessert we had a trio so everybody could have a bit of everything. Highly recommend Bearded chef and would definitely use them again in future.

From the moment you walk in you're greeted with a warm welcome. The menu is created with a whole host of tastes and allergies thought out. Have eaten here multiple times and have also had the pleasure of having cocktail evenings at the venue. Not a disappointment at all and highly recommend if you are looking for a cosy place where you can while away an hour or so this is it. Watch The Chef create your dishes right in front of your eyes with the open kitchen. Great experience.

We have been a few times for breakfast and booked to Celebrate a family Birthday for 10 people. We had the restaurant to ourselves on Saturday evening and the table and chairs were set out lovely. Great friendly and attentive service and the food was fantastic. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely return.

I have been popping in to The Bearded Chef HQ on a Sunday for a roast dinner. Beef, Pork or chicken with the usual veggies, skirlie, white pudding and Yorkshire pudding topped off with loads of gravy. I go in early before it gets busy and both Mrs and Mr chef usually have time for a wee chat and the staff are great too. Always friendly, warm and comfortable and of course, the food is great quality and delicious. I am always asked if I am happy with my meal to which I reply by showing the empty plate. I am always happy to go to HQ and look forward to my next visit. Thanks for quality, delicious food and reasonably priced service. Ally.

I took my 2 kids and dog in for a lovely lunch of toasties and a panini to go. Normally not a fan of the salad and slaw that goes with them but everything was delicious fresh and very tasty, a large bottle water was quickly on the table following a friendly welcome. A little way out of Elgin from the centre but Definitely worth it and will visit again. 👍

Had an evening meal on Saturday 21/10/20 with 3 other couples. The staff had set out the tables so that social distancing was maintained (2 tables, 4 people at each table) but we could see and speak to each other. Menu was varied and fairly priced, The staff were interested and attentive and the meals were freshly cooked and prepared in front of us. All agreed the meals tasted excellent. You can't ask for more than that. Will definitely be returning, particularly as it's less than 10 minutes walk from our house.
