The baked goods are great here. There is not a lot of different foods you can buy here so not great for groseries. And they have short opening hours so keep that in mind. But deffinently worth a visit.

Fantastic wee shop and cafe in Elgol. It was closed when we arrived but we set up camp right beside it on a lovely grassy bank. Had our supper on the picnic tables which were very conveniently located for us, and got a really strong signal from the shop WiFi which the owner Hermione had very helpfu

Well worth a visit, lots a choices between grocery items, delicious cakes, cobs, hot and cold drinks, soaps, baths products, beautiful hand painted floats, second hand books, and many other items. Super cute shop in the middle of nowhere ;-) Best cake ever and hot coffee/tea. Also a very lovely selection of gifts and souvenirs.
