My mum & I took my gran here today for her 87th birthday. It was lovely & we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Very friendly, lovely atmosphere & surroundings & the food was great. We had lunch followed by a big piece of cake each (would have been rude not to!). I had the lemon cake & it was delicious! I highly recommend this place & it's in such a lovely setting in a little village in the Kent countryside. Well worth a trip we will definitely be visiting again!

My daughter took me for lunch here a couple of weeks ago as it's a favourite of hers. I'm so glad she did the homemade quiche with salad I had was delicious and the homemade coffee and walnut cake was the best I have had, light and moist. I will definitely be coming back.

Spot on! As a trades man, this is the cream of the crop. The Scones are made in house and are so tasty, yet fluffy so no heavy mess to it at all or leaves you feeling full. If anything you just want to buy more. Nice and warm in the middle and severs with a bit of butter which is the perfect amount for the scone. The coffee was amazing. I had a Flat White with Oats milk. One of the best coffees I’ve ever had, and I’ve had plenty of them travelling around working. Tasted velvety which was overly pleasant. It all went down a treat. My Colleague and I were served by Sharon. She was very welcoming and her customer service skills were on point. Even taught us abit about the history of Elham and future events that were up-coming. Very informative of the area. She was great. I highly recommend anyone visiting to pop in and have a look and taste for themselves. Honestly; when you’re grafting away all morning this is what you need, good comfort food! If I could give it 10 starts I would. Thanks again Sharon for making our experience the best.

Had a great lunch here in the lovely village of Elham. We had sandwiches made with exceptional bread with tea that was brought to us within minutes. They had a large array of cakes and many menu items. Nice staff. I'd go there again.

Friendly owner, very happy to let me sit with just one cuppa whilst I waited for my family who were horse riding nearby. Looked like lovely cakes but I managed to resist. Allowed me to take well behaved dog inside too. Recommend. Lovely drive to a lovely village and plenty of on street parking. Worth a visit 💞

Although this tea room wasn't our intended destination, it is an absolutely fantastic little place. Great food, generous portions, full of flavour and good prices. So welcoming, the customer service was second to none, the genuine care given to their customers is rarely seen. If your in their neck of the woods, definitely pop in for lunch or just a cuppa and piece of cake.

Lovely tearoom in the Downs. We went out for afternoon tea and this place looked beautiful! Sweet independent business, completely wholesome. Unfortunately afternoon tea needs booked in advance so they have the correct ingredients but the owner was brilliant and suggested separate sandwiches and cream tea to share which a lovely alternative! Because it's small business, a couple of ingredients or options had run out which was not a problem at all but if your mind is set on something in particular it may be worth phoning ahead! Overall our sandwich and cream tea was perfect and completely homemade (like being back at home!) but other dishes including all day breakfast, soup, quiche all looked lovely too. We didn't have any appetite left for the cakes and bakes but they also looked lovely. Have already recommended to friends and we'll go back again for a tea date for sure
