Taste & Smile

This place is a disgrace. All my food came cold. The onion rings were so badly done that even the grill wouldn't fix them. The can of coke was hot proving that the food had been left for so long. The bread on kebab was ripped and soggy. The French fries (which they tried to deny even selling. I rang up and he said he doesn't do chips at all...😂 laughable) were half cooked thick cut chips. Just eat even rang them for a refund and they said no. Wouldn't even give just eat their email so we could forward pictures of the food to them. Told just eat they don't do chips. Just eat then read their menu to them and they had to admit it and then said it's fries they don't do. I'll never order again. This is the second time the food was cold but I assumed it was busy. Tonight on a Monday night near closing. It's dead. No excuses!

Lived in the Port for 22 years and never tried this place (not been missing much it seems) , got the munchies after seeing a local band , my usual preference Sammy's little Sutton was closed by then. Tried this place and was happy to see it open (although have to admit it looked closed), ordered my cheese burger and chips ( I know a connoisseur of fine dining me ! ) , staff seemed to posses minimum conversing skills to keep patrons engaged and eager to return , the Burger was bland and pretty much tasteless & the chips tasted like they had been around all night and reheated numerous times upon request ... wont be returning for another 22 years I think .... How apt a name though , must be an abbreviation of "Little Taste & Little to smile about!

Ordered large kebab, large cheesey chips and a cheesey garlic bread tonight. The food arrived not too long after ordering, I opened the chips to find half a portion with a few sprinkles of cheese needles to say I was quite disappointed after paying £3.20. My partner tucked into the garlic bread and said at least the breads nice then in the next mouthful crunched a piece of plastic she picked through what was left and found another piece. I rang up taste and smile who were rude and uncooperative and hung up the phone on two occasions they didn't even seemed concerned they are serving up sharp pieces of plastic to their customers. The kebab was awful very dry and tasted burnt. Definitely won't be ordering from here again

ZERO stars if was possible as PAID BUT NO FOOD OR ANSWERS - Ordered food 12am and after an hour of waiting and not receiving takeaway i rung up which was from 1am i had no answer and it ended call automatically as let call ring through so i kept trying by this point ive rung 6 times and still got no food or answers they shut at 2am and didnt know what to do so carried on ringing until 2:10am and after 10+ missed calls still had no takeaway or answer and money been took of bank and was PAID so left hungry . Absolutely disgusted.

I ordered 2 donner meat and chips and garlic bread!! The donner meat was like cardboard and it was very chewy it was also very black. I didn't like it at all. The chips were ok... normally there hard and uncooked. I started eating them and there was a hard chip there. The garlic sauce tastes off. The garlic bread had a weird texture. The cheese weren't melted it's like they had made the garlic bread and left it in the fridge over night!! Will never ever eat here again. This is by far the worst takeaway I've ever eaten!!! Thanks but no thanks!

My other half has just been it's nice but really disappointed that had to put my own cheese on my burger and hardly any Donna meat on the burger! I would of sent it back as I've sent a take away back tonight and really relied on yous tonight but I was so hungry I just ate it. It's kind of put me off coming there again witch is a shame

I ordered chip cheese and gravy and burger chips and donor kababa and they miss the chips so we rang up and the man who answered was horrible and nasty and very rude😡 saying we never ask for chips when we did never ordering there again wasn’t the first time they missed something off our order. Polite manners would be nice👍🏼
