Incredible pub. Such a great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and reasonable prices. Absolutely cannot fault the place, even stocked alcohol free gin after I asked what alcohol free options they had.
Was the first pub I visited in Ellesmere and the staff are great! No food, but atmosphere is alright. Great people! Really enjoys the place and looking forward to more.
Says Free House and cask ale on the outside but they don't serve it as its not been available since pre covid. Don't know about food, not seen anything advertised hence the one star on food. Nice place for a drink with nearby transport such as the Merseyrail train station and bus stops. Entertainmen
Quiz on a Monday is well worth a visit. No food here just a pub. For me this is a plus. Staff are never tied up with food orders and service is great.
Can't go wrong with a bit of willy Jessop.
Kareoke is class on Friday nights
Prices great, staff friendly and sports on TV throughout the pub. Also has quite a lot of electrical points to charge items up via usb or plug
Good pub with lots of coves. Great for watching live football and has many screens, even one in the smoking area, it also has 3 dart boards there as well 👍🏻
The pub has been my Husbands and my regular for years but when it was Wetherspoons the last lot of Managers used to allow drugs and some nasty people on the premises which I didnt feel comfortable in there . Since its now Amber Taverns its changed dramatically. Firstly the Manageress is fabulous .

Great selection of beer for reasonable prices and pretty spacious inside, several dart boards up to one side and a nice outdoor area at the rear

Great pub good atmosphere. Have sports on and entertainment multiable dart boards. Also decently priced. Grate place
Great friendly place to drink especially for Gin lovers. Friendly staff and plenty of them so no long waits. Good variety of sports broadcast on lots of well placed screens. Good sound system playing some great tunes. Possibly the cleanest pub toilets in the Northwest.
