Review Wentworth Arms - Elmesthorpe

We’ve had a few meals here recently and have throughly enjoyed every one of them. Dan & Jody are an asset to the team. The level of service we’ve received every time has been impeccable. The menu is small and not over complicated, it’s has plenty to offer and the specials are amazing. There is something for everyone. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, love the current Halloween set up. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Really lovely mid week supper. Really warm welcome when we arrived. Great menu choices. We had a mixed grill - great quality meat and good portion size, and the chicken and chorizo stew which was delicious. We were really liked after by a lovely, attentive team. Will definitely be going back soon

We have been to the Wentworth Arms a couple of times over the last month for drinks. Yesterday we decided to stop and have dinner, we all had three courses and absolutely loved every bit. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, the service was quick and we couldn't fault it at all. Thank you to all the staff for great services.

Just had an amazing night at The Wentworth Arms for my mother's 75th birthday celebrations. 11 adults and 2 children starters, mains all served hot and together. Can not fault all the staff, 100% service with a smile and doesn't break the bank Will definitely return and would definitely recommend. Thank you for making it the day perfect 🥰

Been visiting here for a while with my family. Staff are always friendly and food is great. Not too expensive and good quality. Battered halloumi and chips is my favourite. The kids meals are really good sized portions for my little one and a really big choice. You can tell recently that there have been some small changes, such as table service now and a few new faces but it's still as lovely as ever! Looking forward to a Christmas Day meal here!

The Wentworth were amazing for our party! Stacey n Jody (although rushed off their feet) were amazingly attentive and made our evening perfect, food was great and we were very much looked after :)

Nice pub and staff. Been a few times a food quality and presentation seems to vary. Assume different chef's. Either way it's never been bad and sometimes amazing.

Went there on bank holiday Monday at 5-30 only 20 people there had half a larger and white wine spritzer,£8-36 we where severed by the manager payed for the drinks and ask about some food, he replied in a aggressive manner that they where not doing any more food the kitchen staff where to hot heath and safety and all that then said if it was up to him he would not be serving any more drinks either,if we hadn’t already paid for the drinks I would have told him what to do with them, went out side to drink are drinks ,as we sat there a couple came out with a menu ,the wife asked them if they we’re ordering food , my wife told them that we had been told they weren’t doing any more food ,they told us that they had not said anything to them, wife went to see manager but was told he gone up stairs good job for him ,looking at the food reviews we didn’t mis any thing, went to the red cow at Kirby Muxloe on a47 beautiful meal friendly staff can recommend it ,that’s it rant over.

Went for Sunday dinner for the first time in over a year. It's gone down hill! Roast potatoes were very chewy, the whole dinner was like warm. My daughter had food off the children's menu and there was the smallest bit of mash potato on the plate that was also cold. Mum had the vegetarian option Sunday dinner and it was very disappointing!

Fab food and fab owners only found the place as the mill on the soar electrics had gone very friendly staff made you feel at home will deffo be returning and both my youngest kids cleared their plates and their pudding which is a rarity worth every penny

Food is always good for the price but the noise of cutlery at the end of the bar and the doorbell drive me mad every time I go!! That’s not changed in 5+ Years!! Good food just an awful atmosphere hence the 3 stars.

Always very well looked after in here and great to see them busy. We've had to wait for a table on numerous occasions and its testament to a good dining experience. Sunday lunch is fantastic with generous portions that leave you stuffed and ready for an afternoon nap (its the law!) Pudding bladder can still be filled though. I recommend the Oreo cheesecake, its heaven on a plate.

Been a few times, popped in yesterday for lunch, nice friendly welcome, ordered food (fish and chips / scampi and chips) and two soft drinks. Food arrived promptly and was delicious, really enjoyed it. Staff very attentive, really enjoyable meal all for £17, great value.

Love the space, comfort and atmosphere at the wentworth arms..... as well as the food. Has become a regular choice of place to eat : )

Had vegetarian option of the sunday roast which was a rather uninteresting mushroom pie -and for some reason having the veg option means you forfeit the roasties & yorkshire pudding -just got pie,veg & tablespoon of mash

The chicken & mushroom pie was delish. Hubby had steak & ale as early evening & all roasts sold out, which was also good.

I won a competition over Christmas, unfortunately I myself couldn't use the voucher so I gave it to my mum and aunty. They visited you yesterday with a few other people....and they couldn't speak highly enough of you. The food was lovely the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you xx
