We booked an overnight stay in a hot tub suite for my other half’s birthday and neither of us were disappointed! The room was beautiful, excellent views and the hot tub was a real treat. The food was to die for!! The evening meal was 100% worth every penny and breakfast the morning after was faultless. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Could t do anymore for us. We’ll definitely be back. Keep up the great work guys, you’re a credit to yourselves!

Omg what an amazing night away. We are busy working parents so a night off is like gold dust. We booked the tempest arms hot tub suite room (13). Wow. The room is spotless. They have though of everything and the best part is private hot tub. Sat in having a glass of wine on a sat night wash lush. Went for dinner. Food was amazing. Quick service. Reception staff for the hotel were very professional and more than helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous. I can not fault a thing. Will be booking again. Feel like a new woman! X

I won a Facebook competition for a free night away here in a hot tub suite. It was amazing, the food was beautiful. Especially the beer soaked mushrooms in a cream and Stilton sauce!!! They are to die for. Hubby had pigeon breast to start and then the Bolton Abbey Lamb Chops! He said it was the best lamb he’s ever had. A cheese board and then wine to follow!!! The service we received was fantastic! Made us feel very welcome and didn’t rush us when we asked for a delay before the cheese board. The hot tub suite was amazing. We sat out till late with the fairy lights on and relaxing. We will be back. Thank you Veronica and Martin

We booked the the tempest arms for our daughters christening party and the level of service was excellent. We turned up early Sunday morning and the staff took all our decorations and set the room up beautifully for us whilst we went to church. The buffet food was delicious and the staff were very helpful with anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Excellent, delicious food, so much to choose from and everyone enjoyed their meals very much. Our taste sensation was the best ginger pudding ever, drizzled with toffee sauce and topped with a scoop of salted liquorice ice cream. The tables were set lovely and the staff were great. Five stars all round.

Great food and character at a good price. Much better than our recent visit to MPW's Swan at Ormskirk.

A warm welcome, a comfortable, spotlessly clean room and a good night's sleep. Perfect! Liked · The peaceful location set just outside of Skipton with fresh air and countryside views. The warm welcome from Josie at front of house with a straight forward and quick check in had me settled in straight away. The great service continued when I used the restaurant for my evening meal and breakfast. The room was very comfortable, well equipped and *spotlessly* clean. This is clearly a very well run establishment with great staff. Disliked · I couldn't find fault.

Could not recommend this place enough, we booked for 2 night stay around our wedding which was hosted at the Tempest. The staff were amazing, happy to change details with no fus. The food alone is made to perfection! For our wedding breakfast we had help setting up, tidying up and everything in between. If your looking for a venue this is the place !

The Tempest Arms is definitely worth a visit. The rooms are of an excellent standard and well maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. There is a busy main road close by but the room we stayed in was double glazed and well insulated to reduce noise. It's a pretty area and well worth a walk around the villages as well.

Had a family weekend to celebrate an anniversary. Service in the bar and restaurant was great, staff were really friendly and food was great too. We had a family room booked but arrived about 7 when we were due to eat. Quickly got the key and then headed to restaurant. When we finally got to our family room it was nice and clean but we couldn't get into kids room as it was locked. Headed back to the bar to query this, they finally got us a key to open the door to find the beds were not made. We then started to make the beds ourselves but couldn't find duvet covers. Went back to the bar for help again, after repeatedly being told they were bar staff and not housekeeping they could only find sheets. I ended up having to wrap a sheet around the duvet to make a cover, thankfully this was sorted the next morning but not something you expect doing at 11pm.

Stayed one night a couple of weeks ago. Lovely room, lovely staff, lovely breakfast, great sleep in the most comfortable bed and the free welcome scones with jam and cream were an excellent touch. What more can I say, can't wait to visit again soon.

Cannot fault this place! We came for a short weekend break with parents and were blown away with how gorgeous the rooms were, how tasty the food was and how amazing the staff and service was. Even during very busy times! The rooms were modern, clean and had stunning views. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all beautiful. Great choices and very tasty. The staff are an absolute credit to the place. Super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them and as stated previously, even when it was extremely busy it didn’t affect the service. Will definitely be retuning soon!

All round wonderful experience, the rooms are lovely, great size, clean and to a high standard. Likewise the same can be said about the pub inside and out. Its a very nice place to be with pleasant atmosphere. Makes you want to sit, drink great beer and eat good food with family and friends for hours on end. I could not fault a single thing with my stay, but the stand out thing for me and what i think really makes this place tick is the staff! So friendly, incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for you. No matter how busy it got the level of service was second to non. I would highly recommend and will no doubt be returning again.

This was a fantastic Christmas get away! The hotel is beautiful and our room had a fantastic view of the streams, the hills and sheep. We wanted to do a local walk and the pub offered 3 which loop back to the pub and had leaflets which we could take with the full directions. We booked into the restaurant and had a lovely meal. It is really lovely that the restaurant hosts English sparkling wine which was a lovely find. The only complaint was the dinner service staff, a little slow and had to repeat requests to them, such as for chutney on the cheese board. The bar staff were friendly and lovely to talk to. The bar area was beautiful with the open fire and Christmas trees. All in all a beautiful stay. We loved it!

Weve been here a few times since the reopen, food is always really high standard. The steak and pork belly is especially nice! Can 100% recommend the caramel apple pie too. Staff are always really friendly and attentive.
