Phad Thai Food

Visited Phad Thai for dinner last night which was nothing special, but we still enjoyed the meal. The staff were nice and attentive, and we got our meals very quickly. Both dishes we ordered (duck green curry and a thai chicken stir fry) were full of flavour. However, the portions were a little small though, especially for the price. The decor is also very plain, if it were a little more decorative/cosy it would be more inviting to come back.

Really enjoyed our takeaways from here tonight. Pad see ew and Tod man pla was very tasty and we are keen to go back and try other dishes. Tried several places around bayside and nearby suburbs, feeling the local Thai food was pretty average, but this was more flavoursome by far. Plain environment but good food. We'll be back!

Great name! But disappointing food. Ordered Pad Thai gluten free. They sounded confident they could do it gluten free, but upon eating the food they just removed all the flavour. Essentially it tasted just like steamed frozen vegetables and rice noodles. Had no sauce, very dry and didn't taste like it was even stirfried. Wouldn't go back...

Ok food but very poor customer service and inconsistent menu. Really liked the teriyaki spring rolls but always says sold out. How can you not be prepared for your menu items? Also, website says free delivery but the woman in the phone refused delivery even though we live 5 mins away! Wouldn't return just because of the customer service issues, many other Thai restaurants that actually want our business.

Firstly. Our meals were delicious! But quite possibly the worst service I've seen in Melbourne. It was like all the girls working there had their heads in the clouds, one was even on her phone!!! We ordered one main and one entree with rice on the side so it could act as a main. I asked that they come together which the girl replied yes to. Ten minutes after the entree arriving to our table, I decided to ask about the main, the waitress rudely said yes I know it's coming, turned to the kitchen and picked it right then. It had been sitting there all along. I also noticed, one table to our left having to go up to get a staff members attention because there food was served cold. Another table needed a second plate and ended up having to go to the kitchen themselves to get it, while the table to left of us left before ordering as they couldn't get any service to begin with. A lot of work to be done considering their food is so good. I only hope they can improve so that we can go back.
