Popped in for lunch chose to sit on the terrace overlooking Ely Cathedral. The staff were efficient and super attentive, the food we ordered came fast hot and very well prepared highly recommend for a sunny day

Great atmosphere with polite welcoming and attentive staff. The restaurant was very clean, tidy and had a great feel. The main menu had lots of choice. A separate gluten free menu was available with more meals/choice than any other restaurant we have visited. Quality of the food was excellent and portion sizes were about right. Prices were mid to high and when adding sides/extras it can add up quickly. Only downside was no parking.

Lovely Italian restaurant, extremely friendly staff from the moment you walk through the door. Great laid back and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious and would recommend Prezzo to anyone visiting Ely.
Drink, i had a Blackberry Negroni, I've never had a blackberry one before, but this one was delicious and refreshing, perfect for a hot summers day.
For starters, I had Italian Hummus. It was deliciously creamy and fresh, served with lemon oil and some really nice fluffy grilled flatbread. Nice and light, not too filling - would order this again.
Finally for main, I had the newly added Sea Bass with Pesto Gnocchi, the fish was cooked perfectly, nice crispy skin and juicy fillet, lovely. The Gnocchi were perfect, nothing to fault there. Finally the pesto brought the whole dish together, a rich garlicky, oily and fresh tasting pesto. Very nice indeed!
I must say that our waitress was lovely, she checked on us throughout the evening to ensure we had everything, got chatting to her about the weather and her GCSE's, best of luck to her. She really seemed to enjoy what she was doing, very nice to see.
Would recommend Prezzo to anyone looking for some nice authentic Italian food, also the pizzas looked amazing.
We chose to celebrate our sons 10th birthday here and what a great choice. The restaurant was gorgeous and the food was delicious, Robert greeted us and showed us to our table and then made sure we were looked after for our stay. We asked if he could bring out our sons dessert with a candle and he came across with a waitress and joined us to wish him happy birthday 🎂
The food was piping hot and perfectly cooked and presented, the ambience of the restaurant was perfect and we had a lovely evening. A massive thanks to Robert and the staff for making our special evening even better 👍👍🎉🍻
Nice place, perfect location close to the Cathedral. Good pizza and good pasta dishes. Not such a variety of beer. Also the pizza menu a little short.
We had a meal with some friends here. The building is old!!! Which is cool as it’s full of character and charm. Wonky floors and walls. There’s an amazing view of the cathedral from the balcony, with heaters. The food was lovely 😊
Nice place to eat, nice atmosphere upstairs and really nice helpful waiters/waitresses. The house white wine was very nice. Ordered the garlic mushrooms to start with which were very nice. We then ordered two pizzas. One of the pizzas was the new vegan pizza without cheese and sauce which I wouldnt order again as it didnt not have a very nice taste to it. This wouldnt stop me coming to prezzo as the normal pizzas are usually very nice.
We visited the Hailsham Prezzo many times and it is always good. Last time we visited we had the Vesuvio pizza and the sea bass which were absolutely delicious. The place is very clean and you have to appreciate the building which is the old school. Love it! 5 stars !!

This is a fairly typical offering by the Prezzo chain which, in my experience, operates to a good high standard. It is very conveniently located for visiting Ely Cathedral and the other attractions of this city.
The staff are very attentive, professional and friendly and very helpful when we were selecting our choices. The courses arrived nicely presented and cooked and we're very tasty. We did not feel rushed, although the restaurant was very busy.
Toilets were, typically, well maintained, modern and clean.
Recommended.
