Fantastic friendly service. Excellent choice of local cheese, I was offered to try any ones I wanted to. I was given the tasting notes for each cheese. Will defiantly recommend here and visit again. Great local business.

Fabulous place: delicious food; great coffee; and a warm welcome from the hosts. Could spend a fortune in the deli! And in a blow for civilisation and courtesy, there are 'No Smoking' signs on the tables OUTSIDE. Bravo!

Hey! I discovered the 'Lemon Tree Cafe' just this morning when I wandered in to Ely for the first time in about a year. The coffee was great, the toasted panatone was awesome and the service was as friendly and professional as it could ever possibly be. In fact, a few hours later, rather than stay on the quay and have lunch at one of the many fine eateries there, I doubled back in to town for lunch at the Lemon Tree and I was certainly not disappointed! Thanks loads... I'l be back ;-) ExplorerJust

Situated Right on the square in Ely where they also have a great market. This is a little gem in the heart of the town, and only a few minutes walk from the cathedral we visited, we stopped here for lunch, lots to choose from and all delicious, also we could sit outside & enjoy the weather too, as there is no smoking (which is rare and very much liked by us non smokers) highly recommended for locals or tourists visiting the area. Thank you we will definitely be back.

We visited on Thursday, whilst on holiday, having vegan and vegetarian focaccia sandwiches and cakes. They have to be the best we have tasted. Friendly staff too! Hope you have a well-deserved break

Thank you for a wonderful lunch. The savoury and sweet delights were out of this world! The owner was very accommodating (thank you), and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Drinks were presented beautifully too. Always good to have a pot of tea with a tea cosy! We absolutely recommend this establishment, and we shall be back!

Visited this lovely cafe on 2 occasions now , food is fresh and delicious. They have a big selection of different rolls with very tasty fillings . There is seating outside but quite limited however they also do take away so can order and wait then if nice head off to the park to eat. They also have a fantastic Deli with lots of different produce as well as fresh olive oils and other products . Highly recommend if you are in Ely

The best bread and butter pudding I've tasted since moving out of East Anglia to the Midlands. Found this little gem by accident on a trip south and so glad we did. Super friendly staff and top quality.
