On here on holiday and ate here twice this week. We had such a lovely time, both times. Food was amazing, service above and beyond especially from Lucy (I think I looked at name badge correctly 😁). Would definitely recommend and when we visit Alton towers again we will definitely be back!! Sticky toffee pudding was 😋

The staff are excellent, especially the guy doing the serving. A credit to the business. The food quality and value for money are also excellent. It was a shame the turkey ran out, but still really enjoyable. The building is in need of a make over.

Was a nice meal out with the wife. I struggled a little bit due to being sat in the bar area but they accommodated, we had to wait a short time for a table in the restaraunt side. Waiters were a little slow at times but it was fine overall. Carvery was lovely, the pancakes were a little better than mediocre, hot chocolate was okay. Was nice.

Initially the look of the building put us off a bit as looked run down but should never judge a book by cover. Inside was quaint and staff were lovely and accommodating to us arriving a bit early and also putting candle in daughters birthday dessert. Food was amazing. Thought my Yorkshire pudding was good theres are amazing. Would definitely go back

Not been here for long time. Was pleasantly surprised. Good selection items & quick service. Had refund on starter as sausages rather solid. Lovely puddings. Will be back soon. Thanks.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Very appreciative of the waitress called Lucy H. She was very helpful with the questions I had as it was my first time here. I will be coming again due to the great service

Came for dinner, staff were really friendly, food was outstanding, service was really fast, was a little quiet but it's a monday so i expected no different. No complaints at all. will definitely coming back

Went this evening for tea family of 4 we were greeted promptly and seated quickly, ordered drinks, which arrived quickly also. Informed our waitresses Keira & Lucy H that our youngest has a Diary allergy, they promptly got the information we needed and informed the kitchen staff, who changed all the serving spoons to ensure there was as little cross contamination as possible. When I took my youngest up to get food we were greeted on the carvery deck by Chef Rob you was very friendly but also extremely thorough in clean all the carving equipment and side before serving anything to my son, they even prepared him some fresh gravy to ensure he was completely safe. It was so lovely to see that he was able to have a proper plate of food, with me not having to worry just in case he became poorly after eating. Thank you for a lovely meal we felt welcomed and well looked after by Keira, Lucy H and Chef Rob who checked in with us multiple times, helped to ensure my little boy was safe and we all left feeling very relaxed and all with full bellies so thank you for one of the best experiences we had in a restaurant for a while we will be coming back thank you

We visited on Thursday tea time, this was our first time since the spruce up, the place is looking much better. Our waitress was lovely, and couldn't do enough even though it seemed busy she had brown hair an a fringe. The food was very well cooked and my husband had seconds of the creamy potatoes and carrots. We will be visiting again soon!

I went to the carvery about 20:00 it was a bit quiet homely warm atmosphere which I prefer myself I had a standard carvery and a pint of carling , friendly staff, clean not crossed or empty , I'm very happy I went :) and tryed them out.

Dot is always so welcoming! The food is fantastic, always plenty of it and fresh. The family and I love coming here and we hope to for many years to come.

Food was lovely, red hot, lots of choice, meat was , beef,pork, turkey,gammon, staff are lovely especially Dot, nothing too much trouble. I had roast beef, pork , beautifully cooked ,really tender.

Served by lovely Harry, who is so polite and clearly knows how to speak and engage with people. The food was fresh, hot and plenty of taste. Thank you Harry and Team.

Vast improvement on previous visits ...mainly down to staff and service. The manager, i think she was called Helen, was welcoming and friendly....took our drinks order promptly. Our waitress was polite and prompt to remove plates etc. Even the chef was pleasant....unusual from our previous visits. Made such a difference.
