The Picture Palace

Had a lunch for the 1st time with my daughter . We couldn’t finish our meal ! We were full ! Delicious Triple Chicken Stack & pie . The only thing I didn’t like was the glass of wine at £1 with my pie . The rest was amazing,very tasty & the waitresses very nice & friendly . For sure ,we will come back .

I go to this pub regularly and the staff are super friendly food is good and huge portions and not too pricey, really big and spacey toilets are always clean and it's a positive atmosphere, also not expensive! Brilliant place if you want pre drinks! alcohol is so cheap! Good deals on everyday and the desserts are to die for! lovely manager me and my girlfriend absolutely love it here! Don't leave without getting the toblerone tart or chocolate fudge cake I promise you won't regret it! desserts free if you go on a wednesday!

Good food and drinks at a decent pricr, and a very chilled atmosphere coupled with an interesting building. Staff were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately their car park is bloody awful - the parking machine is broken half the time for a start, but then on top of that, patrons will quite happily box you in by parking in front of your bay or within an inch or two of your car's sides. I'd heavily recommend parking elsewhere, but otherwise a pretty good time.

Former Wetherspoons pub in a very early cinema. The plasterwork on the ceiling is very impressive. Good range of cask ale on sales at very cheap at £2.60 for a pint in my visit. Menu very similar to the former owners and very reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend a visit to this very welcoming establishment

Menu is limited compared to what it used to be and unfortunatley the food isn't as good as it was....but that said, there's music now which is a very welcome change! It's great that this pub has survived when so many others have gone in the area. It's been going a long time and long may it continue!!
