I never thought much of this pub before but it is under new management now and it really shows! The food is reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and its got a good beer garden. I will definitely be visiting more often.

Great service, very quick even though they initially said the wait would be half an hour! Very yummy food and reasonably priced too, 2 course set menu for Ā£6.95 each. Would definitely come back again especially in the winter as they have the log fires burning :)

Lovely cosy and classy pub with real log fires and an outdoor dining area. The food is extremely consistent in quality and value for money, menu is pretty extensive for a pub too. Starters are all lovely, there is also a fixed menu at certain times for a bargain price.Try to avoid busy times, either after work or between 8 to 9pm as service can be slower and less efficient then. The standard menu caters for all tastes including meat lovers, curries, fish, roasts, texmex, traditional favourites and veggie/vegan. I've been a regular here for 20 years and it's one of the most consistent and comforting places in the area. They are careful about allergies and you can swap aspects of a meal for other choices. Dessert menu is lacking choice and portions are small so I'd say spend your money on coffees including liqueur floater coffee with cream which is my favourite or nachos, calamari, wings etc if you want extras. Although it may feel a little clicky for new people as you can't stand at the bar to socialise, the staff are friendly and the locals are easy to get to know once you've been a few times. The decor is currently in warm tones with neutrals, carpeted with comfortable padded chairs, an eclectic interior design scheme and lots of objects d'art like vases, books and pictures to maintain interest. The pub is dog friendly and offers free treats and water bowls, and for a non doggie person like me, I don't find any of the dogs intrusive or bothersome. Wednesday night quiz can be loud and annoying if you just want to chat but it's over fairly quickly. They sometimes have live singers and other entertainment which can be either buzzing or a little hit and miss. The pub tries hard to reinvent itself and has survived many tough times over the years, I felt feel at home there. It's like a relative's living room, but with a few more people.
Pub was very warm and friendly, greeted with a smile and a genuine welcome. The manager Lauren served us with great customer service with great menu knowledge helping me and my family choose. Food was excellent and served in a quick fashion even though the order was for 3 people. The waiter Lucy served with a smile, checked back on us through out our meal to ask if we needed anything, and then was quick to clear our table. Great staff, great service would recommend it to anyone.
Was served by Hannah on Thursday the 2nd of November, she was on her own but did wonderful work. Provided myself with quick and happy service despite the other things happening at the time.
We celebrated my dads birthday here and were served by Ben who was great throughout. We were a large group and he got everything in our order right, served everything in a timely manner and even brought a dessert out with a candle for my dads birthday. Thank you so much to Ben for making our experience here so wonderful!
I came for lunch with my aunty, we had a lovely time. The food was lovely, the crispy chicken sandwich was outstanding, the salad was fresh and crisp, the chips were hot, crispy and fluffy and well seasoned. The atmosphere was perfect too. We were initially alerted by Lucy and Lauren who were very accommodating and helpful. We then served by Chiara who was lovely friendly and pleasurable. An altogether fantastic time was had. Great food, nice decor. Good prices. I had Post Fish Finger sandwich with chips & salad garnish=šš. AccĆØssible toilet with Radar key (from bar or use your own) & 2disabled bays! Not a big car park.
++ās. Good table for 7 of us in nice position. Always excellent service from the moment we arrive. Took a large order without any problem. Food arrived all together. Steaks were perfect and just as ordered. Staff always ask if everything is okay.
- -ās. Childās burger was very hard. Also they always seem to toast the bun which makes it too hard to bite into. No problem with changing and the new one was good.
All in all we always enjoy our family lunches at The Ridgeway.

After a negative first experience. The management at the Ridgeway Tavern asked us to come again. We went back yesterday and were not disappointed at all. We didnt wait too long for our food, we had good customer service and we all enjoyed our meal. Thank you for a lovely evening

Very pleasant behind bar service and our special request for a secluded table fully met. Throughout the meal all service was timely friendly and helpful. The food was good.
A lovely place on the side of Enfield, on the Ridgeway, near Chase Farm hospital, just before M25. Family place, lovely outdoor area. Despite being on the main road not too loud. Lovely staff, great atmosphere, tasty food. Kids meals around Ā£5 for 2 courses, adults around Ā£9 for 2 courses on the set menu. Car park available - itās payable but you will get a refund. Great for families or single people.
Came here on Friday night! It was my first visit to the ridgeway and it was brilliant! Me and my friends had a lovely dinner and amazing drinks! Charley pours a mean pint and mixes an even better passionfruit martini! I cannot sing her praises enough she was so welcoming! Me and my friends will definitely be coming back again next week! Big thanks to the team!
I had organised in advance a pre-order dinner for a group of 16 of us. Everything went very smoothly and we arrived about 7.45, got our drinks and dinner was served just after 8pm with the meals all coming out within a reasonable time frame. Very pleased
