Service was excellent. Staff were polite and cleared your plate as so as you finished. Food was delicious and a good selection to meet all tastes and ages. I only have one complaint, that I ate too much, as I wanted to try all the different wonderful tasting dishes and as that was self inflicted, I have no complaints 😊

Nice food. Very attentive staff. The room is lacking atmosphere. An Echo gives the room an almost canteen like feel.

Lovely tasty food and lots of variety. The dainty sweets are all delicious and very moreish! The staff are exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Everywhere is lovely and clean. We used a Groupon Voucher but would have gladly paid full price. We will be back for sure.

I am so happy to give this place 5 stars. The food was absolutely delicious. Even though it was based on an Indian cuisine, there were a variety of different dishes and meats for everyone. The idea of a Buffet is excellent, as you can gauge how much you want to eat. Such good value and quality for money. 😋 The staff are friendly and very efficient. In particular I would like to mention Gin, who went out of her way for us, and Teagran, who was constantly refilling dishes and cleaning tables. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you. 😊😊

Fabulous food in a wonderful location, plenty of choice of cuisines, staff lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them, you get a complete customer service, superb. Thank you so much for making my first ever visit to Soi Kitchen a thoroughly memorable one, the whole family enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be back again sometime soon.

Visited with close friends and family this Sunday lunchtime - 10/02/19. Immediately shown to a table, with very polite and friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet food was brilliantly organised, and everything clearly labelled. Standard of cuisine varied; Chinese, Thai, S.E. Asian and more. Comprehensive and reasonably priced drinks list, compared with similar establishments. Disabled toilet facilities very easily accessible on the ground floor, and standard bathrooms/washing facilities upstairs and well signposted. The standard of food was excellent and well deserving of my 5 star rating. I am looking forward to returning soon, and will gladly recommend your superb establishment. Many thanks.

We visited for the first time on Saturday tea time and was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. I’m not usually very keen on all you can eat buffets as they normally lack flavour but every dish I tried was very nice. My only criticism would be that they need to be quicker at replenishing the food when empty but apart from that we was very happy with our meal and the service was brilliant. We will Definitely be returning.

A smashing new place to visit. We have been a couple of times now and we have enjoyed our visits, as the restaurant is still fairly new it still has a few tiny issues to sort, drinks service can be a little slow at times, perhaps introduce a soft drinks machine so the refill drinks can be self service (this might help at busy times). When they are busy the kitchen team need to get a little quicker at replenishing food as sometimes the wait is a little too long. That said what food is available is very tasty. The staff are generally very polite and I'm sure with time the minor niggles will get sorted. WE WILL BE BACK as overall its a great place

I'd heard a few bad reviews, but the kids want to go so we decided to try it for ourselves. Ok, it isn't as big as slice of India or cosmos, but the food was tasty and fresh. Good choices for veggies too. Really friendly staff too. We'll go back for sure!

Dropped in after we saw it advertised locally. It’s a really scenic area and the place itself is brand new I think. Staff we nice and knowledgable. Wife loved the garlic prawns, I lived the chicken tikka and spring rolls, beers were a good price too. Definitely going back next month.

Great all you can eat buffet! We decided to try here for a date night, began the night by sitting on the benches outside next to the river having a chilled drink whilst listening to the water flow. I was skepital at first as with buffet style restaurants the food can be bland, basic and overdone but all the food on offer was fresh and very tasty. We're both veggie and they had a lot of options for us and left feeling very full and happy Worth the money and in such a great location. Staff was also very attentive. Will come again soon.

The example menu needs updating as on my visit, 3 to 4 times the amount of dishes were on offer. I had three plates with small portions of samples on each, no repeats and each food was as good as the last wonderful. The service was excellent and £3.15 for unlimited pop, can't get better. We will be back and are making sure all our friends hear about this little gem.

Been 4 times now, the last time (tonight) was by far the best - Food was better than previous visits. staff are helpful and theres a good atmosphere, 13.95 is a decent price for all you can eat (14.95 on friday and Saturday nights) Kids price if under 115cm (which mine both are) is a mere 3.95 - cant lose. Theres a second children tier of 150cm at 7.95. Love the surroundings with the river at the back and outdoor seating / play area, always been a nice spot even back when it was The Millhouse .

First visit and we were very happy with the place. We were greeted very pleasantly and seated close to the buffet, due to my lack of mobility this was much appreciated. We chose a Thursday to go in the hope of it not being busy (I've heard Friday and Saturday are very busy.) It was not busy at all and I half expected the food to be somewhat dried up this could not be further from the truth, it all looked very tempting and everything we tried we were impressed with. It is a smaller venue than some buffet places and as such probably doesn't have as many dishes available but this is not a problem at all, there is lots of choice and everything is cooked well. The staff are attentive and have very good customer service skills. My only complaint is a personal one, due to me not being very tall and unable to get around well I wasn't able to reach the silver hot plates and open the lids successfully. All in all it was a great experience and we'll definitely be going again.

I have been dreaming about the veggie coconut curry since I tried it. It was probably my favorite thing on the buffet. We just got two small takeaway boxes (5 quid each) and ate it outside on a picnic table because we didn't want to spend 13 pounds each on something that we weren't sure we would like. We really loved the food and will definitely be back next time we visit the UK! They've done the inside very nice(looks very different to what The Mill House used to look like, but I would like to see them put new tables outside. :) Even if you are not a asian food fan they do have plenty of regular things on the buffet(pizza, chips, chicken nuggets, steak pie, lasagne) for the groups of people that have varying taste buds. I think some of the poor reviews were from people who expected something they shouldn't have. The food was hot, the buffet was clean, and they had quality over quantity. I would definitely recommend trying this place!!!

Just called in for a drink and was amazed by the location. At the back there is a fantastic patio which overlooks the river derwent and the weird. There is a playground too. Lots of seating both on the patio and the garden. There is an amazing water hole at the back too. It's safe as everywhere is fenced off. Prices look good and was recommended by a colleague.
