Rooms are basic but we're clean. They had everything we needed tho.
The Entertainment was 5star.. The blue coats were amazing this year. We go here every year for the beach across the road and the entertainment in the evenings. This place always gets a bad reputation... But if you're looking foe a great English beach and perfect entertainment in the evenings for all the family. This is the place to be.
It's in need of some renovations in many places. Go karts weren't working/damaged. Dino park was also closed during our visit. Pool pumps broke down twice in 4 days which was also disappointing. The pool timetable system is set up in a way that means kids are disappointed all day every day. It's unnecessary. A booking system would work so much better. Rather than having tens of people queue up and miss out continuously. That said, we enjoyed our stay. The staff try hard to please which isn't easy given the environment they work in and the understaffing issues. The entertainment of an evening I thought was good quality. Plus the wrestling was decent too. It is in an amazing location which does help loads. We have visited a few times and do so with low expectations. I do recommend this particular Pontins. But there's definitely room for improvement.
Lovely family friendly holiday park. Loads of entertainment for kids and adults. Rooms we got were clean and looked like new bedding and crockery. Central. Staff very helpful if treated with kindness. Very busy, but a great location. Yes we had a few hiccups at the beginning but it was sorted out asap.
My self and my family have been coming here for 3 years this year means more to us as a family and I could not thank the staff Anna, Chloe and Cat (manager) enough. They are so helpful, kind, caring and wonderful people. My room was super clean and the service provided by Anna, Chloe and Cat is exceptional! I honestly can not express the amount of graduate I have for all 3. I came here for a break to gat away from everything and celebrate my graduation with my children in the park the have grown to love and call their favourite holiday getaway - these wonderful ladies provide 5 star service and go above and beyond for the guests and they have no idea the difference they have made to us during this time 💜🦋💜
The engineer came out straight away to fix a window I wasn't able to close. Very prompt. Polite and friendly. Accommodation was clean. I had a great weekend.
Family & G/kids had a fantastic time. Well worth a week away. Breakfast is amazing but the evening food is basic & personally overpriced.
Stage shows & children's entertainment is wonderful.
You get what u paid for. The popular apartment are very basic but we can't complain as we only paid £99 for 4 night stay. Don't expect spotless cleanliness but it was not too bad, we asked to exchange 1 pillow and 1 dovet and they changed it without any complain. We used the apartment as a base. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
great holiday with the family! i really enjoyed it staff was lovely and the bluecoats made my week amazing , rooms were fine probably need a new cooker but other than that was okay, entertainment was amazing all week never disappointed, food on camp was lovely and alot of things to do for my sisters inlcuding golf, soft play, colouring and the arcade!, place does need a bit of a clean up and the club needs aircon was dying of heat every night from dancing but the club is great and spacious, beds were comfy and nice to sleep on every night. i went for a week and already want to go back. no shower sadly but atleast we had a bath. security was amazing we had loud music the first 2 nights until 4am and woke us up at 6 eventually they got moved along and kicked out and the rest of the week was fine. kids were loud but wont complain because thats what kids do, overall amazing and cheap get away for the family cant wait to go back next year!
Pros, beautiful beach, nice family spot getaway. Weather was a bonus, it was sunny. I expected it wasn't going to be 5 star quality, so i wasn't disappointed when we got there, we just bought a load of cleaning products and cleaned beforehand so we could comfortably settle in. We enjoyed ourselveslves and made the most of it. The kids loved soft play and the arcade. There were 15 of us, incl young children.
Cons, Place needs cleaning, modernising, better management, better entertainment, and air conditioning. The swimming pool needs to be monitored. Otherwise, the smell of urine overpowers the chlorine.
