Used to drink in this pub many years ago. Unfortunately as the pub kept changing hands, one particular landlady ruined it and it closed for a while. Still get someone who takes advantage of good natured helpful people but it's well noted and makes them highly unpopular!! Popped down for a drink the other night happy to see some of the familiar faces from the past and a nice friendly atmosphere.

Draft lager came up superb on every pint. Bar staff supplied an excellent service. Great pool table. Toilets newly refurbed and very clean.

Now a really nice pub since its recent refurbishment. New manager but all the same lovely bar staff. And the Gents are spotless, for the first time in many years. Nice friendly atmosphere, and cheap drinks. One of the best locals in Romford.

Brilliant Pub Under new management. Jeff and Linda are very friendly and welcoming. The live music nights are the best and are usually ROCKING ! Get down there. Mines a bottle of Becks. Jim

Cheap drinks, dj and karaoke was great entertainment, no trouble getting served even though it was busy and friendly staff :)
