This has recently opened for takeaway delivery and eat in. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. My 2 year old was offered an alternative to the starter as she didn't like it, no hassle and staff were amazing. Was made to feel really welcome here with the family. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

We love the Taj, it's our local (ish) Indian that does fabulous food. We have takeaway more often but sometimes like to dine in. Always great service and lovely food.

We’ve ordered take away from Taj a few times and they’ve always been fab so we decided to eat in this time. Taj offers a splendid variety of dishes, including both classics and more adventurous options. I opted for the mixed starter and chicken tikka balti, which were both fantastic. The poppadoms and naan bread were great. One of our party asked for a dish not on the menu and the staff were more than happy to make it - it too was fantastic. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. With generous portions and great flavours, Taj has won my highest recommendation. I’m looking forward to coming back soon!

Went to the curryoke night on Wednesday basically it’s karaoke with an Indian buffet. Eat as much as you like . Good value,

This was our first visit to the Taj. I booked a table from the website online booking portal which I received an email to say the Taj will contact us to confirm booking or not, this never happened so I had to ring 2 hours before to book a table. I also subscribed to the emails and offers and inreturn I received a £10 voucher by email to use when dining in but to my shock after telling the Taj on the phone that I had a voucher and they said that is fine when I arrived and showed my wife she noticed it was out of date in April. The restaurant is quite pleasant inside and the staff acknowledge us straight away and showed us to a table. We ordered a bottle of red wine and after a while another member of staff told us that the drinks menu on the table is out of date and waiting for new ones so they didn't have our wine as he said they have changed the wines also so he brought us a different wine and we said will this be the same price as we choose and he hesitated but said yes. We ordered starters and mains with nan and rice. All the food was very tasty and good size portions. Also the merlot was nice. We came to pay the bill and they said the £10 voucher was out of date but will check with the owner. The owner came to our table and explained about the booking portal online and why the voucher was out of date we said you need to sort out the website because it can be misleading and also May lose you customers. He acknowledged this and said will look into it. He also said the voucher was ok. So all good in the end we said we will try this restaurant again and try some different starters a mains as we really enjoyed the meal. Thank you Taj for sorting everything out but you need to sort out your website. See you again soon.👍🏾

Recently moved to the area and had friends round for the evening. Went to this restaurant completely by chance. What a fantastic choice it was - Food was great, staff were friendly and attentive and the place offered fantastic value for money. We will definitely be back!
