The Exploding Cafe - Exeter - Photo album

My favourite coffee in Exeter! I love coffee and this place is awesome. Great almond croissant too.
Very nice coffee and croissant. Seriously Exeter, why do I see anyone walking around with Costa cups?!
The best coffee and the best bread. We've just tried their sourdough and rye cob - absolutely fantastic....it won't last long here! Their toasted sandwiches are something else, their cakes are delicious with a good assortment. I also really enjoy their salad bowls. It's such a well presented pla
After traveling the world, hands down Jo and the team make one of, if not the best flat white I've ever had! Along with this there's a great ambiance, open kitchen, delicious homemade treats, sandwiches and a very generous serving of frittata! Can't recommend this place more and dont bother getting
Brilliant and authentic cafe, right next to Exeter Central station, offering a range of drinks, fresh bread, sandwiches, cakes, coffee beans and well sourced range of wines, cider, but no beer unfortunately.
Outdoor seating probably the best place to be in Exeter when the afternoon sun is out. Cakes lovely too and coffee art is a nice touch too.
Always wanted to write a few words about this establishment. Great cakes, great choice of coffee (espresso based and filter too). Loving the vibe, the friendly staff and the kind of banter which can be perceived as awkward but it is all about a bit of fun with people who work hard all day to serve
Love their coffee and cakes!
We had a lovely lunch here - delicious frittata and salad. Friendly and enthusiastic staff, and really good coffee. Fantastic!
food was too good to take a photo beforehand ! lovely atmosphere and service :)) good coffee selection!
Wonderful coffee, choice of delicious snacks. Seating inside and out. Very friendly cheerful staff. Very highly recommended.
Amazing selection of vegan and gluten free cakes 🧁!
The bread is absolutely first class proper sourdough. Nor sure what the flour was. A definite bit of rye along with the sourdough taste, chewy caramel crust and damp cool open crumb. Wish I'd bought two loaves but it's too far to go back as I was just visiting Exeter. Very convenient right next to
Nice, cool place by the station with tables outside facing the street. Oat milk available. Coffee was very tasty. It's worth trying blackwell slice, it was moist and rich.
This place is seriously legit Coffee was really good and there was a whole tonne of fresh baked croissants etc to choose from
I stopped in for a coffee and cake today with a friend and enjoyed my visit so much! The staff was friendly and my flat white was delicious. I’ve been wanting to try this cafe for a while but it’s always very busy, a good sign that it’s worth the wait.
VERY delicious GF lemon pistachio polenta cake, coffee and fennel rose cardamom tea. Shame we got there late in the day as choice was limited but would return if in the area again!
