This place is totes amazing. I popped in to the cafe with the deepest desire to avoid gale force winds and inhale some calories whilst cycling from dorset to South Hams. Whilst the all day breakfast was amazingly tempting, I went for a baked beans and scrambled egg on toast combo... and OMG, the portion was generous and exceptionally well presented.... with butter and a wedge of bread vice some meh slice of toast from the supermarket . Hot and enjoyable, the food itself would be a reason to visit, but hey, the team also let me charge my phone and let me avoid the worst of the weather as I plucked up the courage to cycle the final 38 miles... All in all. A great gaff selling tasty food and further blessed by really engaging staff. Whilst other cafes in Exeter have a standard 'no' to going the extra mile, these champs aced it. Definitely recommended.

Visited today for Pete's Pies, which we've missed terribly. Lamb and chorizo, and ham hock and leek, with smooth creamy mash, and rich gravy. Absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed sitting outside watching the world go by.

We dropped in with the family on a very busy Sunday. Lovely warm welcoming staff, cakes and ice cream to die for. Service was excellent. Noted the doggie ice creams so next time we will be including our 2 canine family members too.

Lovely cafe with great views over the Exeter quay from the tables inside or out. Four of us went for lunch and were delighted with the quality and quantity of the very reasonably priced food and all freshly prepared. Very good salad and excellent coffee to go with it.

One of my favourite cafes which is very cozy and has great view to the quay side river. You have lots of options for having hot/cold drinks, ice-cream or food. It has a toilet which is very useful for those spending lots of time in quay.

What a treat! We popped in to give my son something to eat (they did jackets and sausage rolls), but had a fab experience. Great seats by the window overlooking the quay (a good chance to do some people and dog watching), friendly and accommodating staff and an extensive menu. My son enjoyed his jacket, my daughter had the best brie, bacon and cranberry panini she's ever had and my wife and I shared a very generous portion of soup and granary cob, which was delicious and plenty for two. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you want to escape the busyness of Exeter City centre.

Had a sweet Oreo ice cream with my family here. Very creamy and delicious ice cream I had after some time. The staff was very friendly. It’s a nice location where you can enjoy a coffee or an ice cream after a walk facing the river.

Visited this lovely place today with my friend and had a freshly cooked breakfast with granary toast. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while and service was excellent .The gentleman who was waiting tables outside was extremely welcoming and friendly. Will definitively be returning in the near future .

Stopped for a delicious coffee and ice cream with a special doggie ice cream. Dogs are welcome and there was excellent safe table service. All staff wore shields and everything felt Covid safe. Highly recommended as a small family run business that needs our support and provides a great cafe.

On a wet and windy dog walk I decided to stop at Quayside Cafe for a warm up coffee. The staff were immediately extremely polite asking me what they could get to 'warm me up' whilst greeting my dog Molly with some tasty dog biscuits. For any dog walker wanting to escape the blustery conditions of the quayside, looking for a dog friendly warm, dry break in between your walk or simply looking for a pleasant cafe with a warm and friendly atmosphere then I highly recommend this cafe. The coffee was lovely - with hot milk for extra warmth. A small biscuit is always is a bonus when you order a drink at a coffee shop and it's even more of a bonus when your dog gets one too. Thank you to the staff and customers for a lovely atmosphere and delightful morning break from wet and windy conditions and home working cabin fever!
