I enjoyed one of the specials, lamb moussaka, it was delicious. My partner chose the fish & chips & was equally impressed. Good sized portions without being huge, we could actually eat it all & still feel comfortable. A good selection of local beers completed the options. We will be back!
We recently held a wake at The Tally Ho. The contact was great, they accommodated all of our dietary requirements really well and gave excellent guidance on catering for a large number of people.
Although the weather was against us and we couldn't use the garden there was plenty of room for us all in the pub.
I would recommend this as a venue without hesitation.
Been going to this pub for a long time. Went for a walk & popped in & had a cuppa. Lovely ladies working there. Didn't eat but saw the Sunday roast & will definitely going for one, looked scrummy. Great put stop after a walk around the green trail.
We booked a wake here at the recommendation of a friend, we had visited to pay our deposit a few weeks before and the place was lovely. A really nice "Old Country Pub" feel.
For the wake the staff were polite and any issues we had (very minimal such as asking for an extra bin for the buffet) were dealt with. The food was very good and well worth the £4.95 per head, the drinks where a little pricey but that is to be expected from a proper pub. The garden area was perfect for our family and friends and its been a few weeks now and we have had nothing but praise passed onto us from those aho attendid about the venue.
Popped in for a drink. Prices were reasonable. There was a large range of indoor and outdoor seating. The pub was clean and tidy. Good social distancing measures are in place here.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Couldn't fault anything about the pubs staff the atmosphere or the food. Nice to be able to enjoy that old pub atmosphere that so many palaces seem to have lost these day's. 👍
Great little pub. Staff have been really welcoming and helpful whenever I come with my Dad who’s in a wheelchair - Access is around the back as if you were going to pub garden. Got a lovely big pub garden which is great in summer which has a children’s play area and is dog friendly. Food is good standard British pub food and good selection of drinks including ales and gins. All reasonably priced.
Went for a walk, ended up at this pub for lunch and what a lunch it was, the 1 and only downside was that the portions weren't the biggest for the price you paid, however the food was fantastic, the staff were super friendly and they even had a great and well maintained area for the children to play in, will definitely be going back again next time we're in the vicinity
Stopped of here after a long walk and what a little gem beautiful quiet garden with play area for the kids and the food was amazing we had a hunters chicken, bacon cheese burger and kids fish fingers and it was lovely, hot and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpfull, will definitely return next time we are over that way 🙂
Here on the occasion of a friend's birthday. Pleasant atmosphere, good garden. Food was very good, served quickly and hot. Very pleased.

Was here, for a wake sadly. The pub itself is cozy but has a deceptively spacious courtyard style beer garden. Very pleasant buffet and polite staff. Recommended.
A great family pub and dogs are welcome. Ample garden space with seating and a small children play area. Staff are friendly and the service is excellent.

Tucked away off the main road, a great little pub for family visitors. A play area out back for the kids and a wide menu suitable for everyone. A typical local pub interior. Great service. Warm and welcoming and dog friendly. We dropped in on the off-chance of a meal and were not disappointed.
A good selection of beers & ales as well as the usual suspects from the fridges.
