Dropped for a bite to eat whilst on a walk around Powderham. I had a very nice steak pasty from the bakery which was heated for me. There are plenty of seats outside to use on a dry day. The shop also has a butcher, Post Office, and a good selection of local beers and ciders. Plenty of parking in the gravelled area and a bus stop right outside.

The farm shop was lovely and included a 'real' butchers. There was also freshly baked bread and rolls for sale. The deli counter sold takeaway food and hot drinks. I ordered a sandwich and cappuccino. The sandwich was well presented and so, so tasty with a good coffee to go. Picnic tables were available to eat outside. I can thoroughly recommend this farm shop. Not only does it sell very good food, but the staff are very cheerful and helpful which makes such a difference. I would definitely visit it again.

Now under new ownership, the vegetable range is much fresher and more extensive. You can almost skip the supermarket now and get most of the things you need. The butchers is a great addition with very good quality local meets.

Lovely surroundings. You can buy food to eat outside or take home. Everything from ice-cream to pasties. We had pasties which they heat up for you if requested. Delicious and filling. There is a small garden centre and shop. Also opposite the car park in the grounds of the castle there are some deer to look at.

We loved it! A really good shopping experience, there's a shop that sells some wonderful items for the home, ladies clothes, some imaginative toys, cards, rugs and much more. Then there's the fabulous farm shop & garden centre with a little takeaway cafè. We then had a lovely walk in the grounds looking at the herd of deer. A lovely experience & well recommended.

Lots of local produce and really nice pasties that can be eaten on the picnic tables in the grounds. Came across it by mistake after trying to park at Teignmouth and then Dawlish. So glad we did. Powderham Castle is also a great place to visit and you have plenty of grounds to walk around in without going in, which we aim to do next time. There is also a licenced restaurant and plant sales. Picture is of the castle and grounds.

Wouldn't recommend for a family shop on a budget. But that aside it's a lovely place to buy something special. Of quality or unusual. The coffee shop is lovely and the Cake a real treat. The butchery is amazing. The staff are always pleasant. Plenty of parking. Lovely setting.

Visited for the butchery and got some proper steaks from a real Devon gentleman butcher. Not sure what I enjoyed more eating the steak or chatting with another Deb'm bey.

Really good farm shop to visit. They have a large range of local produce and some classic treats that can be very difficult to find. Friendly farm shop with lots of hidden gems.
