Such a lovely atmosphere, and the live music is such a vibe! Drinks on student nights are great value and the staff are always so fun and friendly, especially Mat and Cam who always make you feel welcome!

Regularly come into John Gandy's, always have a good time. Great atmosphere with ample place to sit and room for a boogie too, reasonably priced drinks and service with a smile - had a good laugh with Tommy at the bar on Saturday, will be back next week!
Quaint little place. Very nice layout inside with a shabby chic feel and candles dotted round. Would be a good place for a date earlier in tge night or at off peak times. Would be 5 stars if the drinks were a little cheaper although there is a good cocktail menu

Awesome bar. Staff were great cocktails are 2-4-£10 sofas if you are lucky enough to get one are very comfy. Currently doing "research" for christmas works outing.... it's on the to go list!!!!
Last Friday me and some friends had a master class for a friends birthday, Bret who was the staff member running the masterclass knew what he was doing and made it so much fun and we actually learned how to make stuff from Espresso Martini to Strawberry Daiquiri and they were so tasty !!

Good place to go for pre drinks and when a band is on it can be a really good atmosphere! There is a downstairs bar and an upstairs one which is good as the top bar allows you to get away from the dance floor when the music is playing!
Great place for a night out with some amazing live bands and music on the weekends, superb cocktails, brilliant beers, all round perfect night out

Found this watering hole by mistake at a lunchtime. Warm welcome and a good pint with the added luxury of comfy leather sofas. Perfect stop during z shopping trip.
Always a good night in Gandys, cocktails upstairs are alright, basic bar and often some good music downstairs, don't need much more besides some drunk mates for a good time
Nice bar, very atmospheric on the iconic gandy street Exeter. No relation of the other lad Mahatma but I'm sure he would love it too if he were Alive and/or was an alcoholic.
