We went on Sunday while visiting our grandaughter ,meal very nice staff pleasant but had to wait 40mins for our lunch and 30mins for our sweet,and there was hardly anyone in hate to think how long we would have to wait if they were busy.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat on a midweek lunchtime, the pub was fairly quiet so lots of tables to choose from, it's a proper city pub with sports screens and a garden area, there's a good lunch menu, I had the chicken and bacon sandwich which was huge and tasty and hubby had a bacon and cheese burger with fries, both meals were good and served pretty quick, a great place for lunch
Never posted a review but I'd recommend the place to everyone. John, behind the bar, is top class, so welcoming and helpful. The whole staff was spot on. A good honest boozer and grub.
This place is amazing. Was in Exeter for a wedding and went here a lot. Staff are epic, I left something there and they shipped it internationally.. unreal service. 5 stars!
This pub is so nice. So clean and tidy. Made to feel welcome as soon as a member of staff see's you walking theoughtbthe door.

The first game of pool is FREE and already to go, which is a massive bonus.🎱
They also have darts, which I believe are electronic they look awesome but did not stay long enough to play, next time for sure .
The beer garden is a right sun trap. Perfect for any sports fan as there are tvs outside, too! 😀 🎾 📺 even have some shelter.

Superb pub, lovely atmosphere. I had a sharer as a snack, fish coupons well they were Superb. Had a great afternoon, plenty of screens to watch the football. Joey and Brandon are great customer people and I would recommend this pub

Great pub. Cosy with a good atmosphere. Has a dart board, pool table, and outdoors area. Plus, drink prices are reasonable.
Staff has always been nice and service is good. Food is decent too although I am yet to try many of the options. I would avoid when sporting events are on as the pub can get easily crowded. Sometimes music is on far too loudly though, which becomes really bothersome.
Great spot for a sunday roast and to chill with some mates.
First time visiting thus pub and it was above anything we expected. Prices are very reasonable when you consider the increase in running costs for hospitailty businesses, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. A pool table and two dart boards to try your luck at as well as plenty of seating for both family and student customers. Will definitely visit again
Nice pub with good atmosphere and decent beers on tap. Staff are nice and pints are well priced. Good place to watch the footy.
