Lovely pub that I frequent often for drinks and for food. Normal menu is lovely but they also do The Fat Tuesday Project taster evenings for £60 per head and it never fails to satisfy me Lovely friendly staff. A must visit

Community venue with a changing menu, and a cheerful atmosphere. Excellent and attentive service from the staff, good food, accommodated a peanut and shellfish allergy with reassuring confidence, and I also overheard them accommodate someone who was dairy free at another table.

Great pub, great food, friendly staff. Buzzing atmosphere 🙌🏼 Love it here 😍

We’ve been going for drinks regularly and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Finally booked to have a meal as the food always looked so good, and reality definitely lived up to expectations, each dish was delicious! We ended up thanking the chefs in person we were so impressed!
I had not been here for around 13 years and remembered it fondly. It was still the lovely , friendly old English pub. So glad and will definitely pop in again when visiting Exeter ☺️
Roast is good Lovely atmosphere Meat is so tender and every flavour dances on your taste buds. Worth a trip.
