no food....basic , old fashioned pub, nice people, not expensive, free car park.
Friendly pub and friendly staff. Loads of parking and reasonable prices considering it's right on the outskirts of the city.
When we visited here there was a band playing called the sky lizards, excellent music and a great atmosphere with plenty of people up dancing! Apperently live music is a regular thing here, just glad I came, had a great night.
Chris and the team gave my daughter and son in law an amazing wedding do to remember. The food, bar staff and dj were all perfect. I would definitely recommend this as a venue if you are looking for one, as you will certainly be taken care of.
Great place particularly when they have live bands, great atmosphere and service with a smile.
Private functions available which is also very good with catered food.
Being a very very picky fussy eater ordered a build your own roast for lunch today. What can I say ??? Absolutely fab. We had a few during lockdown which were lovely but todays excelled. We had the beef which was cooked to perfection, spuds crispy and fluffy inside and gravy was to die for. Everything was cooked nicely as should be and very tasty. Can highly recommend to anyone wanting a roast and not wanting to actually cook it themselves. We'll done to the chef and all who contributed to the meal. 10 out of 10. Many thanks.

Amazing food, finally somewhere that serves a decent portion of gravy with a roast dinner! Very friendly staff, seemed to know their regulars well. We will definitely be back.

Nice pub. Has a pool table and lovely staff. No cranberry juice though, would be 5 stars if I could drink vodka and cranberry there.
The guys here are the best and the food is well nice - always so helpful and friendly. I used to come here a lot but moved away so hadn’t been here for two years or so. I come back and they’re still just as welcoming and helpful, and the food is amazing, especially for the price you pay. A+++

Just been to a wake for one of the aunties ,the staff were very respectful and the buffet was ample and freshly prepared. Very good experience for a sad occasion.
