We visited here after trying to get a table in Wetherspoons around lunchtime. The food was excellent (I had a large breakfast which was fantastic) and my wife had a jacket potato which was pretty large and looked great. The staff were friendly and punctual and the interior was clean and well laid out. Prices were reasonable for what you received. We would visit here again next time we're in Exmouth.

Enjoyed the food, not busy when we came in so everything arrived promptly. I asked to have the breakfast after midday which was kindly offered as they don’t usually do this. Friendly servers all round I recommend a visit.

This place has great coffee and outside seating with a view out onto a war memorial and the town centre. They have nice snacks and do breakfasts as well with a medium sized menu. They do have WiFi and it is a suitable place to cone and work if wanted. It’s useful to note that they do have a toilet and the staff are very nice and respectful.

We rented the Bayleaf for a party and it was perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is so welcoming, the food was gorgeous and there are 30 cocktails on the drinks menu! Really reasonably priced and such a lovely venue. Having both the inside and outside exclusively is such a unique selling point - would highly recommend!

Visited this lovely cafe last week ie August 2021. There is a small reception at the entrance to the cafe and also an exterior seating area across a public pathway. We were asked to select our table and chose one on the outside. A waitress was soon greeting us to take our order. On this occasion it was for coffee and cake. Both duly arrived quickly. The coffee was hot and the carrot cake just right. There was plenty if scope for some people watching. A good place to visit.

I often been to the "Bayleaf" cafe in Exmouth over the last six years since 2014, with members of my household, especially in recent weeks during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic restrictions where we mainly sat outside. The "Bayleaf" has seen a lot of refurbishment over the years I been walking past.

Perfect breakfast and coffees in the marquee on a wet and miserable day. Staff efficient and friendly. Sausages and bacon are really good quality and full of flavour. We will be back.

A lovely small café run along traditional lines. Menu not too broad but allowing all to be done well. Beastly breakfast served until 3pm and is a real challenge. Great value at £10. Recommended unreservedly and I'll be coming back after going into training for the breakfast!

Recently held a birthday party at the Bayleaf Cafe. The staff could not do enough for us even closing the cafe an hour earlier than planned so we could get in to dress the cafe. The cafe comfortably held in excess if 40 guests. The food was fantastic and the cocktails were consistently excellent. Congratulations to Justin and all the team you have got a gem of a cafe.

What a great little find on our trip to Exmouth today friendly polite staff, nothing too much even asked us if our two dogs would like some water. Excellent food and great value, Highly recommend the breakfast burger ( home made and boy could you tell )

Lovely relaxing lunch today sitting outside in the sunshine. Two of us shared a vegetable antipasti platter - really generous helpings and served on an attractive slate wigwam platter - definitely recommended. And delicious home made chocolate mocha cake...

Lived here all my life and never been in here before. Just had the veggie breakfast and lovely it was too, egg was perfect, hash browns nice and crisp, I love the fact my baked beans came in a little glass dish rather than soaking the rest of my brekky!

What a breakfast!! Done to perfection and the service was friendly making the whole visit thoroughly enjoyable. We will be back and I have got a few of my friends interested too. I just wish we were a bit closer. Still it is only two and a half hours drive on a good day
