What could have been a disaster turned out to be an amazing experience. These guys went above and beyond to make our family of 12 some very happy walkers. So to set the scene, we arrived after a decent walk from Chipping Warden with some young kids on Christmas Eve. We had booked but there was a mi
Very picturesque pub in a lovely little village. Very quiet when we went so we sat in the courtyard which was a great way to get out of the sun. Olive and bread starter was great, chips and onion rings were really good and the portions were huge! Chicken wings were a bit odd as they were battered. S
Lovely country pub! The hosts couldn't do more to ensure their guests have a great time, I wanted a dish that wasn't on the Sunday menu, they cooked it for me anyway Thoroughly recommend
Amazing food, well kept ale, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
Small and friendly pub with warm and homely atmosphere. Not the widest menu but all food was hot and tasty and freshly cooked. Prices reasonable and friendly staff. Worth calling in if in the area.
Lovely pub and fabulous food and hospitality , will definitely be returning and recommending ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great draught beer. Sunday menu offered a choice of roast dinners or vegetarian pie. Big portions with a good selection of vegetables.
Excellent food and very helpful and friendly staff. Loved it!
Took a chance on this place for Sunday lunch based on Google reviews. Having been disappointed with other pubs this was a welcome change. There was nothing to fault. There was a warm and friendly welcome, a good choice of drinks, excellent Sunday roast, fabulous desserts and coffee. Will definitely

We went for Sunday lunch and I must say the roast dinner was fantastic. Lovely old country pub with freindy staff. I would highly recommend.
Was literally there in this lovely pub for 5 mins waiting for a taxi …. Best 5mins in a pub with lovely staff! ❤️ Would 100% travel across Europe again just to finish a beer there.
Excellent customer service and food! They handled a group of 20 or so of us really well. Thank you for an excellent evening out :)
Great menu and great service - everything beautifully cooked and piping hot. Have visited for dinner and Sunday lunch in the last month - both faultless!
