Dancing Elephant

Friendly service, awesome food! They've done a pretty good job turning a storefront into a pleasant place to eat. It's a shame it isn't more convenient to the highway, or in a town more likely to attract walkers. They're all by themselves on this quiet main street. Worth the effort to find them, though!

Best Indian food in Maine by a lot graciously served in a beautiful dining room. Haven't had as good a dining experience in a long time. The naans and papadums were heavenly. The lamb vindaloo was superb. Everyone in the party of six was delighted with their meals. Good beer selection, full bar, but I forgot to look at the wine list. I'll be back.

Inedible. The appetizers with over fried and tasteless. The lamb curry was greasy , tough and uneatable. The vegetarian side dishes we got had an inch of grease on top. We ordered Saag Paneer and there was no Paneer,, just potatoes. The corriander chutney was fluorescent green and biter. I could go on but won't. Never again.
