We enjoyed our first festive menu at The Running Horse this year. The staff were very attentive & on the ball from showing us to our table, serving drinks & food. The table was nicely set out, clean & tidy. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Running horse has got to be the best place in Fakenham had a meal for 4 and it was fresh and tasty will definetly be back the staff were very polite and great service
We had lunch twice here. 7 people first time and 3 the second, plus a large German Shepherd! All staff welcoming and friendly. Good joice of menu. Service was good and food excellent. Highly recommend. Good outside area and would definitely go back.
Excellent service from all staff. Made to feel most welcome especially Hugo the dog!! Food was well presented, very tasty and good sized portions. We booked in for a Christmas Breakfast with the elves. The kids were very excited, when we got there they were not disappointed. The place is spacious and great for family & friends meal. The food is good too. Excellent choices of pub food. The staff were nice.
However, I experienced an incident in the past where a broken glass was in my drink thinking it was ice. Just be careful when you ask for ice and lemon on your drinks.
