The Berkeley Brasserie & Bar

Just staying at Tortworth court nearby and thought we would try the most local pub for some food. I had the burger and wifey had the fish, unfortunately the chunky chips had to be replaced with skinny fries...not the end of the world, it's still potato 🙂 Cheesecake for dessert, not bad at all, Service was good and quick. Seems like the waitress was the bar person too but she was chilled and polite and was coping fine...she hopefully has help when it's busier tho 👍 Overall it was a nice experience 5 stars from me Craig Barry VOG

Staff & food were lovely. We only decided today (22/08/2023) to go, so I booked a table for 3 at 12:30. Some people arrived shortly before us and told the staff there were just a few of them & said "a couple more" would be joining them. It turned out there were 14 adults and 3 children! They then decided to sit inside, meaning they required table service. Typically, it was the one day they only had one server on. This meant we had to wait quite a while for our orders to be taken and for our meals to come. No fault of the staff, just very inconsiderate customers. Please, people, if you have a large group, book in advance!

Popped in on the off chance for a pint and a snack. Pint of Gem for me & Coke for wife! Just have a sandwich says I...and I'll just have jacket potato says my wife, what we got was biggest cheese,pickle and salad sandwich WITH chips and more cheese,pickle and salad jacket potato than my wife could handle....but she persevered bless her ! Chap opposite had burger and chips....and from what I saw, I think it would have lasted me the week! Thanks Huntsman Excellent!
