Just want to recommend this pub. It has loads of great ales and decent food at incredible good value. The bar and sports tv area is separate to the dining area so there is something for everyone. Just had a great roast meal there.

Having tried the rest, it is always nice to eat the best Sunday Roast in the Delme Arms, "Me Julie " and I both agree you can't get a better tasty and filling Roast in the local area, 10 out of 10 every visit

Visited The Delme Arms on the off chance for a lunch time Birthday meal with my Wife daughter and our dog, having been disappointed by another establishment! I am Gluten intolerant, and find it difficult to find somewhere that copes with me and is happy for a large dog to come with us. The Delme made my day, dogs welcome and a good choice of meals for me to eat, and even better at a very reasonable price. Staff were amazing and friendly even brining water for our dog. Overall lovely place, best meal I have eaten while being out in a very long time, nothing was too much trouble, will definitely visit again Thank You

Tried this place for midweek dinner and it didn't disappoint. Fresh home made food. Lasagne was lovely and my partner had chicken burger which was tasty. The only thing we could think of that let it down slightly was that my partner asked for no salad , and a plain burger but it came with salad on the plate and mayo in the burger , but other than that , a thumbs up 👍. We will return again soon

First class place with fabulous bar staff. The food was excellent ( fish and chips for me! ) . Great range of food on the menus at great prices. Worth going just for the chips! Very atmospheric pub so I would highly recommend the pub.

Lovely friendly pub. Went to quiz night, very busy. Thought quiz was too slow but enjoyable. I had lasagne that looked the worst plated meal I'd had in a long time but it tasted ok. Others meals look great. Desserts were tasty. Would recommend but not the lasagne!!

Met a couple of old friends for lunch & we all enjoyed our meals they both had the small fish and chips which for a 'small' was quite a reasonable size, the chips were of the fat type well cooked. I had the 'Doorstep' sandwich, steak, Stilton, onions & mushrooms, it was perfect the steak was cooked med-rare as requested & was so tender it could have been cut with a spoon, right amount of ingredients, tasted amazing. The selection of beers was very good, I had Proper Job straight from the barrel, clear as a bell, nice pint. Clean & tidy pub, welcomes families, kitchen open 12.00 to 2.30 then again from 5.30. Last but not least the staff, the young ladies behind the bar couldn't have done more to make three OAPs very happy customers, they laughed at some pretty awful jokes, brought out our drinks & food, smiled all the time, nothing as to much trouble. They were a credit to themselves & the pub. Some how I think we'll be back.

I'd rather pay a few pennies more for a proper pint in a real "English" pub and keep it going than give Tim Martin a bean. Not sure about the pubs football club alliegence. ... needs to be a bit more red. 😁😁😁

Nice pub, awkward location for finding the way out...it's on a dead end street and turning is difficult if cars are parked without consideration. VERY friendly staff, great choice of ales, lagers and ciders. Food looks excellent. The gent's toilets are spotlessly clean. Well priced venue, live music and sports. One star removed because of a quite loud and annoying couple at the next table. Maybe Monday lunchtime is their 'special time'? Highly recommended.

Go here every Wednesday for friendly and fun pub quiz. Food is available to order and is always made fresh and comes out piping hot. Good selection of mains and deserts and all are good value for money. Staff are friendly and there is a wide selection of beers on tap as well as ciders, not only well known but more local brands as well. Well worth a visit if your in the area.

A nice little pub on the corner of the roundabout. It is a fairly small venue but its nice enough and there seems to be plenty of parking on the street near the pub. It was fairly busy in the restaurant area and this was a Monday but food came out quickly and of a decent quality. The only downside to the pub was the men's toilets weren't super clean but other than that it was nice.

Booked a meal for my birthday in January after such good reports of the Christmas menu, but was slightly disappointed. The food was ok, no grumble, but the room was so cold I had to keep my coat on. The bar is very sport's orientated, the beer is good. If there had been more warmth, i would have given 5 stars

What a great local pub. Really lively and busy, especially on Premiership football afternoons/ evenings. Good selection of guest cask ales, ciders and lagers that are changed and updated regularly. Two bars, one seconds as a restaurant area, but food can be served in both. Simple, but tasty menu and Sunday lunch is a winner! There is a secure and large garden area with outdoor seating and tables, great for families. Parking is available on the road side of a residential road, there is no pub car park. Well worth a visit.
