Our 'local'. Good selection of beer and wine. Reasonably priced menu - tasty pizza. App ordering as well as in person. Nice garden with heaters. Dog friendly. Ticks every box.

There's nothing like a pint after football. Vibes were good and there is a great outdoor area, a few tables have small TV's for that personal viewing and there is also a big screen. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure on the food though or pricing, only stopped for a quick Pint.

Rammed on a Friday evening. Fortunately we had reserved a table. An outside table would have been quieter though. Feral kids running around indoors. 30-minute wait for food advised when we ordered at the bar and that was accurate.
Food was hot and tasty. A bit disappointed to have the mushy peas (accompanying the haddock) in a polystyrene cup on the plate...

Outstanding service and extremely well organised pub set next to the Solent hotel and Lodge, this family, dog friendly pub is easy going with a basic small menu.
The standout dish were the nachos, which were very generous.
Our chicken and burger were a bit overdone and the brownie was ok, if they up their game on the mains and desserts, this would be 5 stars for all visitors.
Very friendly and helpful staff and easy ordering system on app or staff by request especially useful for dietary requirements.
Overall easy non fussy beautiful decor pub.

My son in law, baba and 🐶 enjoyed an hour here yesterday sitting under a canopè of beautiful trees in full lead. The garden is comfortably furnished and peaceful. And you can order from the table. Just what we needed. Oh, and the chips were yummy 😋 and my lime and lemonade, cold with just the right amount of lime.

Tremendous! I rocked up at 7.30am and loved the buffet breakfast and earl grey tea. I had 2 pain au chocolat and a few other bits for £6. Set me up for a perfect working day after walking from Swanwick. Just what I needed

Parsons has recently been refirbishment so it is a lot lighter and inviting, but losing the local pub vibe. Really quick service for a bit of afternoon lunch, delicious pizza! You'd be hard pressed finding a restraunt doing tastier for the same price. Friendly staff who were very attentive. Would definitely come again for some more food

Came here for a friend's wedding, its beautiful. We stayed at the lodge, the wedding ran really well and the bride and groom were very well looked after. I was a bit disappointed with the main toilet and the light in our room.
The toilet handle was broken in the main toilets.
In our room I found it odd that the lamp light that was there by the mirror on the desk was yellow, it should be a white light not a yellow one, if it's there for the purpose of makeup, but it was also broken, under the bed were weird trolly things those too were broken. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Best pizza and burgers in the area, by far! Helpful staff and good prices. Good outside area with heaters for when colder. Great location for a drink and a meal any time of the week! Also I love the fact that they are dog friendly 🐕 🐩 🐶 will totally recommend

Quite nice pub. Food was far better than I expected!

Very clean and spacious environment and obviously popular, food is served and looked good but we were only here for a few drinks before moving on. They had a good selection of beers and those we tried we're all very good would happily come back again.

Good family friendly pub. Love sports and lovely beer garden!

Popped in for lunch before our spa break. Had burgers with sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious. Staff polite and friendly. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Christmas tunes playing. Ideal way to start the weekend.

I would like to give the Parsons collar a higher star rating. Service good, food good...The problem.....Hubby is diabetic and does not like cola or pepsi...so no other option for a sugar free non alcoholic drink being available makes the star rating fall. In this day and age of being aware of sugar content, when calories per meal are advertised on the menu, why wouldn't you have a diet lemonade available!

Nice and friendly staff, with an excellent garden.

We live locally and I decided to whizz in Sunday afternoon with my little boy for a little lunch. I had the burger and my son had sausage and mash, My burger was quite dry and the bun seemed a bit stale, my sons sausages were obviously deep fried and a bit over cooked. As a child's lunch I would rather them not having the sausages deep fried. The service is very good and the refit is nice, the only downside is the drunk that seems to be there every time I go in, and maybe the staff should stop serving him, he's a bit of an embarrassment to be honest.

Popped in for lunch, managing to get there before the very busy lunchtime rush! Ordered a burger, mac & cheese & a prawn sandwich. My friend said it a lovely sandwich, tasted very fresh & a lovely sauce. Mac & cheese was very tasty served with crusty bread, I didn’t have the optional bacon or chicken. The burger was also really good fresh & hot! Lovely staff who were very attentive.

Great pub excellent staff and friendly service would recommend. Carrie one of the managers is always helpful. Ben the GM is always polite and friendly good feel to the pub and very welcoming.

My family and I enjoyed Mothers Day lunch here yesterday. The roasts were delicious and a full plate was most welcome.
The service was good and a lovely pub which has changed since the last time we popped in for a drink . We will definitely return.

It was just what you would expect from a noisy pub on a busy Friday evening. Food was OK but the staff were so rushed so it did not all come out at once. Had to start the main meal and the veg followed later. Our waitress was excellent though. Very helpful and friendly. Had to shout at each other over the din and ...why ...oh why ...must pubs these days serve food on weird and whacky things. Two steaks came out on porcelain plates... just as you would wish. What did my haddock, chips, salad and dressing come out on??? ...A metal tray with a piece of paper on it! The paper all soggy with the juice from the dressings and garnish. But it was all in all what you would expect in a pub and the food was well cooked and as I said the waitress was lovely.

Poor service last night ; long delays at the bar, despite not being overly busy, running out of wine glasses so using branded pint glasses instead for rose wine, on top of overly price small portions of food. Another lost customer!
Mike Booth
It's just been refurbished really well but they have increased prices, a pint of local beer, pint of lager and a small diet Pepsi £11.50.
Dean Smith
Hanging kebab is overpriced for the sake of 3 small meatballs on a skewer. Either double the amount of the meatballs or halve the price. £10.50? Really? Saving grace was the staff and the selection of beers and wines. Not the best venue for food.
Claire Blacknell
What a great refurb. Food was good with great presentation; staff attentive and sat outside and enjoyed a gin recommended by the manager and it was lush. Highly recommend it.
Julie Whitaker
We were stopping in the Solent hotel next to the pub and called in for our tea. Food was good and not expensive, good atmosphere and polite and friendly staff
Jo Maslin James
Visited yesterday with friends, service very poor, young waitress more interested in talking to colleagues! Came to check everything was ok with our meals but didn't even wait for a response before dashing off! Fish n chips were lovely but gammon too salty!! Had to ask 3 times for the bill.
Tracey Harris
The Sunday roast was disappointing! Dry chicken, veg was mainly frozen peas & carrots. Gluten fee option of gravy etc was not available. The only good thing about the dining experience was a free pint included in the price. Won't be eating there again
Ellen Mould
Great feel to the place and love the new decor. Good menu and the ice cream bar is amazing!! Table service a tad slow but I tell you that ice cream bar makes up for it haha

We have lived in Whiteley for 15 years and decided to go for lunch at Parsons (don't think we have ate there for many years ) we both had half a rotisserie chicken with slaw and chips (I swapped mine for mash) ! The food tasted excellent and we definitely be going back

Been twice this week - love the decor and refurb. Menu is varied. Lunch (hot sandwiches and fries ) were nice and came quickly which was good as I popped in on Friday whilst at work. I went back Saturday with my mum and aunt. Food was o.k and waitress really friendly but the food took ages to come from the kitchen which was disappointing . I will try again another time. Maybe for a Sunday lunch

I just paid £10 for a lettuce & some tasteless chicken
& the staff said “what do you want in it then”
👌🏼😂😂😂

Lovely quaint pub, food was tasty and good friendly service but think could have a specials board to improve menu.
