This is one of our favourite places to eat as a family of 5, mainly because of the varied menu choices. We’ve not had a bad meal yet. Service isn’t the best and it can take a while to get a drink or the bill but this is a minor gripe.
1st visit to this beefeater tonight, myself, hubby and our two girls. We were really impressed with the food and we both commented on how lovely and friendly the staff were. We will definitely return!
Will definitely go back there, staff very friendly and welcoming food delicious 😋 The man had an amazing memory he took our order in his mind. The toilets are also very well decorated and clean and plenty of them.
Absolutely great made sure we had a highchair for our child. Didn't mind about the mess that was left under the highchair. They also made a suggestion to let us have one of the desserts missing out what we didn't like rather than having something else.
We come here when visiting family. We have a child who is nil by mouth and peg fed. The staff were friendly and so accommodating with warming the blended food we brought with us. This allows us to do more inclusive days out as a family. Food was good quality at the usual prices for pub grub. We ate at around 14:00 and didn't need to book in advance as it wasn't busy on this occasion but I'd still recommend booking in advance. The restaurant and facilities were very clean and well maintained. There is plenty of parking close by, but there is a short walk from the closest car park. Good disability access to the building and the floor is level inside, so there is no need for lifts to toilets, etc. If seen by staff/managers, thank you very much, we had a lovely time.
Food takes a bit of time (for those who only have an hour of lunch break from work). But it's delicious, comes in a good quantity and staff is nice.
Beautifully cooked food and staff were amazing. Had breakfast 2 days and dinner 1 day.
Stumbled through the adjoined Premier Inn doors at 20:50 after a manic day. Checked in and Albie at the reception warned that I only had a few minutes for food so if I wanted something I better get my pace on.
Crashed through the door and was met by Lewis and Nadine. Explained my situation and pleaded that I’d made it in time. I hadn’t… the kitchen was closed. But that wasn’t a bother. Nadine said she’d happily accommodate me, Lewis took my order and had me seated. Out came a good ol’fashioned cheeseburger and chips. All cooked and prepared to perfection.
This trio of wonders managed to turn my chaotic day on its head and chilled me out with some good food in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was no way rushed neither despite the circumstances. Couldn’t fault it. Nadine, Lewis and Albie… all wonderful assets to the Whitbread team.
Food was great and amazing service by lesley s made us feel very welcome and made the experience all the better
Visited here on the 4th August and was served by Katie team leader who was very accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent and the rest of the team who we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful.Our overall experience was very good and would not hesitate to come back again if we were ever in the area again
We stayed at the premier Inn whilst working locally and was really well looked after every night by dale Jenna and Lewis ,the service was superb and to say there was so many of us staying ,it was really well planned .Jenna was lovely ,really pleasant and a real asset to the company
Dale went in early to ensure we could all get breakfast at 6 am before heading out to work ,and Lewis worked tirelessly to keep everyone's drinks flowing .thankyou so much
Food was Excellent, staff were VERY helpful although there were only 2 of them. GREAT place
