My 4yo wanted to join the library. We were greeted by a lovely lady who set up her account and let her choose her own library card. The selection of books was vast. We stopped for a drink in the cafe and were served by 2 lovely people. An around great experience. Everyone was super helpful and friendly.
Farnborough library is great. The Librians and volunteers are extremely helpful and its a lovely safe place for anyone to either research, use the computers or just have a cup of coffee, or lunch with friends. The small cafe is extremely good value and although the menu is limited the drinks and snacks are very good. Highly recommended
Quiet busy on a Monday morning. Plenty of activities going on. Obviously still very popular. Well worth a visit.
Lovely friendly staff, who are happy to help. Standard parking is in the shopping centre car park a short walk away. I believe there is disabled parking on site My seven year old is speeding through books at the moment, so we're visiting regularly, she always finds lots to borrow, and has several new favourite authors, because she gave one of their books a go. The option of borrowing electronic and audio books through the Borrowbox app is also fab and we enjoy listening to a story, whilst painting or doing other crafty activities.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Great range of books. Easy to use system to take out books or to return them. Recommended it to family and friends.
We have used this library occasionally for many, many years, since way back as far as the early 1980's ! It's not changed much at all to look at but doesn't feel dated & of course updated. It's opposite the Farnborough Leisure Center & very close to the central shopping centres. We mainly use them to use their computers to print things off as home printer is rubbish. The staff here are extremely nice & helpful & whatever you don't know how to do, they will help you do it, in every detail & always have a friendly chat. I went in yesterday to accomplish same & due to Coronavirus / Covid-19, they said it's advisable to book the computers because they have to be cleaned thoroughly & left for 1/2 hour between users tho' as it was, it was quiet & they were all available & when I finished they cleaned it down along with the printer as well, they wore gloves & full face visors & kept distance for mutual protection but didn't feel any less personal than usual :-)
Friendly staff! They seem to be working as a team. They encourage new members and are quick in processing new applications. Mine took 5 minutes. All the staff are not necessarily upto date with all the programmes but arw willing to help. Good quality wifi available, cafe available, kids area, enough seats with electric connections.

Well the public seem to like it, there are normally lots of people using the PC's here and you can print stuff, and they have books too! They also installed a coffee shop that gave me an Americano when I asked for a filter coffee which bugged me, but yeah, not a bad little library! They may or may not have some extra rooms which I would personally rent out and use.
Love this library, been using for years and really helpful staff, don't like the new phone app though, keeps locking me out and no way of updating your password without going into the library ..not good!
Well presented library with friendly staff & great children's events! Printing facilities are also very useful & easy to use
Lovely library staff friendly and always willing to help! I take my 2yr granddaughter and she really enjoys it
