A welcoming English restaurant with breakfast and lunch options. They serve pretty much all of the traditional English breakfast options, with a few variations also.
Some of the food comes unseasoned as is the case with a lot of English food, but it's well prepared enough that it doesn't feel off at all. You can also add salt and pepper to your taste.
The prices are perfectly reasonable, so much so that you could come here semi-regularly if you're a local. Overall, a great place to have a relaxing meal.

Old school colonel. Decent breakfast and lattes and considering its Farnham was good value too. Staff were pleasant and service was average. No changing items on the menu giving it four not five stars

I can’t believe I’ve been going to chain restaurants for breakfast when this place has been around the corner this whole time.
I couldn’t believe the prices, we both had a Gorge Special, one with chips and I changed the chips for hash browns. Normally not a fan of chips on a breakfast but after stealing a few from my girlfriends I have been persuaded!
Cappuccino was also lovey.
Will 100% be returning, will be surprised if I haven’t returned within a week!

Was attending Farnham for their next Town Crier selection to support a friend (he missed out but was robbed IMHO) and was recommended this café for a Full English and a cuppa.
It didn't disappoint. Dont expect chincey table cloths etc - this place is more greasy spoon but none the worse for that. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced and the table service was fast and friendly.
The Full English represented especially good value (photo appended) and tasted delicious.
Shall visit again.

This is a great cafe - one of our favourite places to eat in Farnham. There’s a great menu of real food served in generous portions for good value prices.
It’s always busy (as it deserves to be) but the service is quick and the staff are really friendly.

Staff are rarther distant. Would benefit bit warmth in approach. Put a plates with food on the table and walked away just like that, not asking if everything was all right and if we needed anything else.
Food decoration (Benedictine) very poor. No herbs, no lemon, just lonely two benedictines on the large white plate..

Absolutely nothing negative about this place. Staff are extremely friendly, food is always delicious and service is very fast too. One of the best places to eat in Farnham.

Broad menu with some great vegetarian options available! We ordered an omelette, jacket potato and panini - all of which were fab. Fantastic staff.

Not very helpful to me when I went in today for lunch with my mum. We had to wait while people that came in after us got served first so helped myself to menus, then had to call the waiter over to order our food.
When the food arrived it was only one of the meals and was mainly mashed potato with very little meat and cold chips with it. After half an hour my meal turned up only to be taken away and told it was the wrong meal I had only managed one chip at their stage which was cold. Waited to see what was going on no food came out so went out to the counter to see what was going on with my food and no one seemed to know. I tried to cancel my food but was told that it was now ready but when it was brought up to the counter they had got the filling wrong for the second time and once again decided that this was once again someone else's food. I finally told them to cancel my omlette and chips as I had come in for a meal with my mum and had expected to be able to eat my food at the same time as her not an hour later. I told them that I was not paying for my meal as I had not received it and wouldn't pay the full price for the other meal as it wasn't very good as it did not come as described but they still charged us the full price for a meal that we were not happy with. I know that it was lunch time when we went at 12 noon but I didn't expect to come out at 1 pm without having had anything to eat just because the chef couldn't get my order right.
Once we had paid my mum told the staff that we would never be back there ever again and the member of staff said good.
There was no apologies to us about the wait or any real reasons why I didn't get what I ordered or about us not getting our food at the same time.
My view is that I will not be recommending this place to anyone especially as the food taken away from me was then served to the customer that should have had it in the first place. No where else would do his because it breaks the hygiene rules of serving food to customers once it has left the kitchen and should have been destroyed and recooked for the other customer.

I love The Gorge, my wife loves The Gorge, my children love The Gorge.
The Gorge serves great food at good prices with friendly service.
We have four children and they all have different likes and dislikes where food is concerned but they all have no difficulty finding enjoyable food here, there is plenty of choice.
I recommend The Gorge to anybody and everybody. It is a rare gem.

Bacon egg tiny mayo and tiny bit of pepper!!!
Seems simple but 1st came brown sauce
Then tried wiping sauce out adding mayo still see the brown in it then swamp it in mayo and no pepper 40 mins 3 attempts
