The restaurant was super busy when we arrived and as you can’t book we were lucky to grab a table, a real bustling feel to the place. Service was really good, friendly and efficient. Would recommend the salt cod starter, lovely calzone with a nice soft dough, Pizza really good. A little unlucky with the ricotta chocolate crumble dessert not so keen on the texture! Creme brûlée was superb! Really enjoyed only thing we thought could have been improved was the kitchen end of the room was very loud music wise, a little hard to be heard, but we still loved the place!

We always love Bencotto as it has such a lovely atmosphere and a changing menu.
Tonight I want to say they have gone absolutely above and beyond. My mum has a severe allergy to a lot of bizarre things which means we are unable to eat out as a family. I emailed earlier in the week to enquire whether it might be possible to change something on the menu quite heavily, which we understand is a real pain to do. They were welcoming and understanding and she really enjoyed her meal, as did we enjoy ours, and we were able to celebrate an occasion as a family for once. So thank you so much, it is so appreciated and she mentioned that something like that can make such a positive difference

Lush setting inside, making you feel warm as soon as you walk in. Staff are very polite and attentive. Food of high quality. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. Parking isn’t far away, which is an added bonus.

Amazing Mediterranean restaurant in the centre of felixstowe. Its busy and lively with a great atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating to our table of four with fantastic service and were able to make adjustments to one of the dishes to suit us. Drinks were delivered efficiently after ordering and we were regularly checked back on to see if we needed to order more. The food was really good, highly reccommend the tapas! All food and drink was very reasonably priced and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. It was nice to see people wandering in late into the evening, gave the place a real continental feel. There is one unisex/disabled toilet downstairs with further toilets upstairs. It is a card only establishment. Had a lovely evening here and will definitely be returning.

After a bit of a wait, we were given a table near to the bar. Everytime someone walked past they knocked into my chair!. Which I have to say were not the most comfy of chairs either.
We were soon served and food came out quickly. All very delicious. 2 of our party asked for adjustments on our food which was fine. I had a hot chocolate after which was rather small for the price, served in a small coffee cup. Other than that the food was lovely and really nice place.

First meal out as a couple in almost a year so very exciting 😆 We had lovely friendly service and were seated quickly. In my husbands words the monkfish special was superb! I treated myself to a valentines cocktail which was delicious! All in all a fantastic romantic meal for 2 thoroughly enjoyed by us both!

Had a wonderful Saturday lunch here! Roasted Porchetta, Crab cakes, gorgeous bread! Couldn't fault it all. Friendly and efficient staff. Would definitely recommend and will be back!!!!!!

In the 6 years we've been coming here I can honestly say we've only had one thing that wasn't quite right. The menu changes with the seasons... there's always plenty of choice and everything is freshly cooked and delicious. For decor and food combined we've not found anywhere we like better since moving to Suffolk �
