Called in this afternoon after a long walk. Cosy atmosphere, good, friendly & polite bar people. Tried 2 different beers, both top of the form. Rounded off a good day. Well impressed.

Just popped in for a drink. Place has been updated since our last visit. Nice cosy feel on a cold afternoon. Looks like they do quite a comprehensive menu, including very reasonable dish of the day. Sunday roast looks like it would be good too.

I had the southern fried chicken platter, and my wife had the fresh beef lasagne with salad and garlic bread. With a large glass of rosè and a pint of Guinness for me. We were greeted by a young lady who asked us to choose a nice table and took our order. Very attentive. We can thoroughly recommend
