Sat outside under the decking. Really nice place to sit. Pub has made a nice effort to give a relaxing environment to sit and enjoy a drink. Nicely lit with heat lamps for the colder weather.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Prices were also good
Main bar area is large and clean.

Absolutely fantastic staff. Can not do enough for you! Really caring and attentive. Food was brilliant, speedy service and very tasty. So reasonably priced for such large portions. Me and the Mrs went home stuffed!!!
I selected this pub from previous good experiences of Greene King pubs whilst in East Anglia and I wasn’t disappointed. Lovely, courteous staff, good beer and fantastic food. I had Steak & Ale pie and it was lovely, just like me old Mum used to make. Not much else to say, nice friendly atmosphere, would recommend 10/10 👌🏾
Great pub, staff are always friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The food is always well cooked and good value for money. Waitresses Jade and Chloe are awesome. Love coming down here. :)
Just had a lovely meal with my dad. The steak pie was delicious! Michelle the manager was very friendly and welcoming.

Me & my sister in law visited yesterday and both had the katsu curry & it was absolutely delicious. The portions were very good & we also had a dessert each which was also lovely. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend.Thank you for a lovely afternoon x
Good place for a burger!
Table was a little sticky, but the food was great. They got part of our order wrong, but the manager came over to apologise immediately, offered a round of free drinks to make up for the wait (didn't take him up on that, as we really didn't have to wait long!). Above and beyond service. Nice crispy fries, good burger. Cricket on (followed by F1) for thise interested in that sort of thing.
All in all a nice visit, would recommend.
Absolutely loved my visit here! The atmosphere is homely and warm, and the food was absolutely amazing. I was surprised at the range of food available- from Mac n Cheese to Katsu Curry! I was lucky enough to visit for quiz night (Monday) which was a riot with friends. I couldn't recommend enough, and hope to be back soon!
Visited on way home to Kent after a short break in Suffolk. Impressed at the young staff who seemed to know all the local oaps by name. They did not stop working. There were so many people enjoying the lunchtime seniors menu that we were advised the food wait was 30 mins. They told us before we ordered giving us the option of proceeding or not. Actually the food arrived faster than anticipated. Two drinks, two hot meals and two puds for £20. Can't beat that!

Very accommodating, big selection of food, lovely atmosphere and staff were very efficient.
Food was tasty, looked lovely when it came out not just chucked on a plate. Had quirky accessories the food very good quality.
The young lady singing was very good and a nice little touch on mothers day.
