Forum Fish And Chips - Felixstowe - Photo album

We had a really nice lunch at Saltwater Fish and Chips in Felixstowe during the 2023 Coronation weekend. Between the four of us (2 adults + 2 kids), we ordered a good variety, including fish n’ chips, the seafood platter, fish burger and sausages. It was a short wait between ordering and the food co
Excellent fish and chips. Fresh and tasted great. Proper thick fish and the chips were well fried. Local ale from Mr Bees brewery is also served in bottles and staff were friendly.
Gluten free menu, yay. Friendly staff and service. GF batter is tasty and tasted like "normal" batter. Decent chips which are GF anyways. Didn't miss the vinegar (GF option would be nice though.. if it is safe please keep the ingredients label on for us coeliac muggles!).
Had a great takeaway from here. The haddock was cooked to order which I prefer and it tasted really great. The fish was thick and a good size. Didn't manage to get a photo as I tucked in straight away. The chips were great and didn't taste like dirty oil like some places. Would definitely recommend.
We have been here every time we visit Felixstowe as it is our favourite on the front. The queues can get very long during peak times (for a reason) We have both sat in, and got takeaway in the past. Food is nice, reasonable prices. The staff we met today were friendly, especially the lady with the
Lovely traditional food. Fabulous hard-working staff, coping admirably with a pretty constant queue, for both takeaway and eat-in. (despite a few very challenging and impatient customers! Don't worry about them! we think you're brilliant, and will continue to visit every time we're in Felixstowe)
Saltwater is awesome. Great quality food, reasonably priced and staff are amazing! Food is always nice and dry, no greasy left over in the bottom. Portions are fair and it tastes great
A few days ago I went for a late lunch at Saltwater Fish & Chips on my first visit to Felixstowe Beach, and what a great experience I had! The food was outstanding, as the fish & chips were cooked very well and the portion size was more than good! Definitely would reccomend anyone to order the mush
We ate in took a while to set the table up but we were a large group. Food is good with a selection of gluten free and vegan options where food is cooked separate to avoid contamination.
Great for gluten free / coeliac
Easily 5 stars! Wonderful, polite service. Very good range of vegetarian/vegan options. Food was delicious and very good portions. The battered Halloumi is highly recommended if you don't eat meat/fish. Gorgeous and 3 large pieces. Very well wrapped with free wooden cutlery, napkins and mayo. Highly
