Review The White Hart - Fernhill Heath

Damian aka Evo.
Came here today for work... This place is stunning... Recently refurbished by punch to a really high standard. New land ladies Jess and Danni are the perfect hosts... The entire building is spotless from top to bottom and the attention to hygiene and visual cleanliness is clear to see... Huge carpark with ample outside seating and a heated smoking area Plush seating inside and the bar stools are seriously comfy Danni escorted me around the building... A lovely lady... Her and Jess took over about 9 weeks ago and are putting the kitchen back on full time at the advertised hours They are looking for staff of anyone fancies a job ... Details in a photo This is a beautiful venue with great new land ladies.. 😎

Had a lovely lunch, celebrating my sister’s birthday. There were four of us plus ‘Frank’ our dog. The service was excellent and the food was delicious but a little light on the chips. My niece also commented that she didn’t get much mashed potato with her sausages. That aside, the menu was mouth watering and not ‘over busy’. The prices were very reasonable. The ladies loved Frank too. We will definitely return and would recommend it.

If I could give 6 stars (out of 5) for this place I would! FAB FAB FAB place to enjoy a few hours of your life. There is nothing too much trouble for Danni & Jess (new tenants), very attentive and personable. Food is lovely! Beers and choice of wines/spirits great. Do yourself a favour and visit - you won’t be disappointed!! 👏👍😍

Gorgeous pub, love the decor! Had some asian pork belly bites, then a cheese and bacon burger to follow. It was delicious. The staff are so lovely and attentive. I will most definitely return. Good parking too, easily accessible. They're dog friendly too!

Called in this lovely pub with some friends. The pub is very clean and well presented. The 2 ladies who own the pub were very smiley happy people who instantly made you feel welcome . The staff were very nice too you can see they are happy in their work ( team effort goes along way ). We decided to stay and have lunch. Nicely cooked and well presented the food went down a treat will definitely be going back to try rest of the menu . We could of stayed all afternoon in this lovely decorative pub . See you very soon whitehart and thankyou very much for a lovely experience

Decor and atmosphere is much better under the new management. They had some music and a hot dog/cider stand on during the summer which was a blast. Also dog friendly which is a plus. They just need to increase the selection of local ales and ciders and it would be a perfect local pub we can go to each weekend!

We popped in just before close and the staff were very welcoming despite being in the process of closing up. Good selection of drinks, including real ale, and nice interior. Hopefully we can come back again soon!

What a fantastic place, just called in on the chance of food. It was brilliant, the staff were just finishing the food but kindly kept the kitchen open for us. The meals themselves were amazing will be calling in again .

Really friendly service and reasonably priced food and drinks. A great location hidden away in Fernhill Heath. The guys were welcoming and always checking in. Nice outdoor patch. I would happily make this my local if I lived a little neater!

A misteak. Invited out to a christmas 4 course set menu dinner booked in advance,we arrived and i was impressed by the place if a little cold. we were told that the set menu wasnt on...odd when you book in advance, hay ho never mind we will still have a nice meal,i ordered the sirloin steak...it was the worst i have ever had..it was grey and tasted off..i owned a hotel and have cooked thousands of steaks..this was off...my wife doesnt like me complaining and the person paying enjoyed his...what a shame the standard should be the same across the board..never again

We've eaten here every Sunday evening for over 12 months. Can't be beaten for value for money and quality. Excellent staff, what more could you ask?

Rubbish. Eat there last night, food was awful, rump steak tough, and over cooked, have you ever heard of being served peas and carrots with steak. would never eat there again, avoid much better food in the area.

Gem of a place.. We were looking for a place to have Sunday lunch, convenient for our daughter and son in law, travelling from Gloucester and for ourselves from South Staffs. The table was booked for midday. After settling with our drinks my husband and I decided to try out the carvery, whilst lasagne, salad and garlic bread was the others' choice. The timing of our meals could have been an issue but it definitely wasn't!! The quantities were just right. All the food was hot and without exception the quality was great! (The sweet tooths of the group opted to share the chocolate orange gateau - and we weren't disappointed!) A good value for money Sunday lunch, ideally located for both generations,(at a place where all the staff are pleasant and helpful, which is always a bonus) so we look forward to our next visit!

A REAL GEM OF A PUB. We visit this pub regularly with the family.

We have NEVER sampled bad food here. The pub is warm, comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

There is now a new menu which is extensive and reasonably priced. The specials board is always full of fresh fish and some unusual meat dishes.

The chef presents attractive food that is always tasty. In my opinion, you won't find a more traditional pub serving home cooked food, The White Hart is good value for money and you certainly leave feeling full and satisfied.

We love it here!!!!

Ian Thorpe. I have recently been to
The White Hart Worcester Fernhill Heath. My fiancee had the New Yorker chicken chips and salad, myself the half Roasted chicken with rosemary and garlic new potatoes and a salad, her dish arrived before mine. passing this delay off as a trivial matter (as the restaurant was busy) Five minutes passed then my meal arrived, It was immediately noticeable that the chicken had been microwaved to much. This extremely over cooked meat meant the drum stick had fallen off at some point during the cooking process and was dumped back on the half bird.
By this time the waitress had left our table to attend other duties so any objections would not of been noted. I moved on.
At first I tried the potatoes I found them all over cooked to the point they where brown inside from high cooking temperature and excessive cooking times , I tried the chicken starting with the drumstick skin was crunchy, obliviously been placed under a broiler as well, removed a bone. on my second bite of this drumstick found that the meat it self was that dried out that as I tried to chew it, It crumbled and splintered in to the side of my gum making it bleed. I informed the staff who took my meal away and I spoke to a (I assume) front of house manager I explained what had happened and asked for my money back. I returned to my table. while my fiancee finished her meal. shortly after a large man( I assume the chef ) came from the kitchen he explained he was giving me a voucher. That I said I did not want it and wanted a refund for my meal
This was quickly rejected he then tried to explain the cook process to me and how meat gets tough through the cook process . To which I informed him I had a degree in food science and as a chef myself understood what the cooking process can do to food items I even pointed out the effects of time and high heat on his potatoes and chicken but all I got from that point on was verbal abuse starting with" oh yeah do you know how any times I've heard that one "and which ended with "I am giving you this voucher" again I refused got up and left.
I have worked In the USA and UK in the hospitality industry the way we where treated was appalling, so I am informing all of our friends ( Who eat at the white hart) and there a lot who work at the hospital and surrounding area to take there business else where.

Best carvery - always end up back here. The White Heart has THE best Sunday carvery of anywhere I've ever been - that's why we go back there time and time again. Far better than anything that the chain pubs can offer. We've not managed to get as far as desserts here, but the display cabinet is crammed with amazing-looking home-style puddings, the menu lists approx. 20-30.
