Wonderful food and great service from the 2 lovely ladies on bar and kitchen duty. The evening started gently with just over 12 covers, but by the time we left they must have had in excess of 30+ covers again. There was no panicking just sharp, fast and friendly serving. They have a great chef with a creative menu. Portions were not skimpy either. Well done everyone.

The hospitality of the staff at Ramsey Arms is unmatched. We were made to feel like long awaited friends! We were fortunate to be there on their Tuesday Steak Night, and the food and service was excellent by any standard. We loved our overnight stay at Ramsey and any future trip to the east coast of Scotland will certainly include a stay in this wonderful hotel.

Friendly staff, and they are trying very hard to protect against covid (one-way system, washrooms limited to one person, etc). The menu was nice and the food was mostly as expected. We started with the sharing platter which was very generous (loads of meat and cheese). Mushroom burger so good I had it two nights in a row.

Great food, great beer, great staff. Stayed for two nights Feb 2020 and had meals there on both evenings. Food was superb, would recommend the Guinea Fowl and the burgers. Breakfast was excellent.. on the second morning we had to leave early and instead of breakfast we were given an very fine lunch. Thank you all, cant wait to come back

It was my first time visiting the Ramsey Arms for food, and was made to feel very welcome apon arrival and taken too our seats, then fast with our order of drinks which was good, then we had plenty of time to decide what we wanted. The starter was amazing which was the sharining plater, and this was amazing highly recommend to anyone wanting to try. Then for main I had the buttered haddock and chips which came with mushy peas and was a lovely portion, I also had a side of onion rings, my partner had a burger and chips with a side of coleslaw, the sides are plenty big enough to share between two or more of you. For us the food seemed very salty and we had to wait 20-25 minutes before we could get anyone's attention yo get another drink, but by this point there were quiet a few other people in.Would highly recommend as the food was lovely and liked the atmosphere at the Ramsey Arms. And just as a side note they are running a one way system and it's only table service as to make sure everyone could have a great time and be safe. So this might have impacted on the service time.

Very tasty food, large portions, so never had room for pudding which looked lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful. Social distance measures still in place.

We had dinner here and the food was amazing. I had chicken stuffed with chorizo and crushed potatoes with mustard. All with a peppercorn sauce. Perfect! My husband had a burger and he said it was juicy and delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ramsey Arms! Nice and clean rooms, comfortable and cosy. The staff is very friendly, polite, enthousiast,... The restaurant is a nice place to drink something and/or have a delightful meal. Not too expensive and enough parking, nice view on the arch. They also serve good Scotch whisky's! 😘😁
