A little gem amongst many hard working cafes but this one is a real find. The afternoon tea was made up of fresh meats in a choice of bread, 4 lovely cakes, fresh scones and choice of jams with cornish cream.... Washed down with Yorkshire tea or coffee.... Staff lovely
Service excellent and an excellent selection on the menu. Missed breakfast by half an hour so eggs Benedict with black pudding. A signature dish. The Lighthouse filled up rapidly approaching lunchtime. Would recommend.
Excellent breakfast Probably the best breakfast,I have eaten. Prepare for a bit of wait, because, everything is cooked to order. Absolutely gutted,not open on a Fridays,which was my last day of holls.😭😭😭😭
There isn’t anything bad to say about this place. I got a large breakfast and my daughter a sausage bun. Everything was cooked fresh and it was sooooo tasty. The staff are amazing, very friendly and 💯 accommodating. It’s closed on a Friday which I was devastated about but next time I’m in Filey this
Have been visiting this place for years. Food is always excellent, fresh and tasty served with lovely coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Have brought friends and family here and none were disappointed. I would highly recommend the Lighthouse.
I used to come here a lot with my grandparents when we regularly visited Filey on family holidays. Extremely friendly ,large portions of value ,fresh food.Plenty of lighthouses and sea pictures to look at whilst eating too.
Only place to visit for excellent service,lovely well presented food and great choice.Its a comfortable place to sit in the window and watch and listen and make great friends along the way.Highly recommend for choice ,value, GF and excellent service with home made food.Lovely jars of chutney and jam
A quiet little traditional cafe in Filey . A bit of old - fashioned seaside comfort ....proper carpet and lovely decor , don't go here if you want modern ! Friendly staff ...especially the lovely Karen , who has hospitality and kindness running through her veins ... Elegant place . Comfy , clean c
My daughter is "Gluten Free" so we were so pleased to find a quality tearoom that had a good Gluten Free menu. She was so excited to get an actual GF toastie rather than having to make do with a plate of chips like she normally does. She really enjoyed though. So thanks for doing a proper job of cat
